MTS with a Raildriver and a good stereo speaker system and powered subwoofer- very loud and (as far as I know) realistic. BTW, you can get a Raildriver cheaper @ Signal Computer Consultants than from the manufacturer.
I own TRAINZ, THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION, but cannot run it, because I have a MAC, but will be getting a PC soon

Like toyomantrains, I use MSTS with a raildriver. I absolutly love my rail driver, it adds so much to the simulator experience.

there is!!![:D][:D][:D] it is from abricadata, AKA the liquid ater.com
They have a bunch of train software ranging from train simulators to programs where you build vertual model RRs and drive your layout. All programs are for Windows and Mac!!![8D]
Chompers…
Please could you tell me the average size of a Train and Train signal? I would be really grateful for this. I am a year 10 student planning on making a Train signal in Technology. Thank You
Gib, a block is an area or length of track of defined limits. Trains are of differing length. Since your on this forum of train sim, I suggest you go to www.signalcc.com , and get the TD2 dispatch sim. This will get you organized, and is a great sim game!
I’m happy with MSTS. 3 dozen routes and about 675 different pieces of rolling stock. I also help design new rolling stock (see my signature below).
I use MSTS. But I exclusively run the Kicking Horse Pass add-on from Maple Leaf Tracks. There’s no better incentive to run MSTS.
I use MSTS.
I bought MS Train Simulator a while back. I really enjoyed it at first, but after a while I got bored with it. Now I only call it up when my 5 year old says, “Daddy, can we drive a train?”
Ron
I still use MSTS. And the next poll that asks this same question will undoubtedly get the same answer. But that’s okay. Maybe someday I’ll get my first STAR!
I use all the addonsi can get working. Mostly train engines, but also the signal set.
MICRSOFT CANNED MSTS2 PLEASE E-MAIL THEM TO TELL THEM TO BRING IT BACK!
I’m a happy user of Microsoft Train Simulator. Can’t wait until the second one comes out.
I wi***his poll allowed for multiple answers. I own both MSTS and Trainz. However, I haven’t had a chance to do much with either.
i have added another answer “Both Train sim and trainz” due to request, but if you have some other combination, just vote for “other”
I was given Trainz for Christmas last year but you have to use the number pad for controls. Unfortunately, the computer with the number pad won’t allow me to install Trainz and the one that will let it be installed doesn’t have a number pad! So I play Train Dispatcher 2.0 or 3.0, depending on the territory.
The best railroad operation simulation programs on the market: To use, one must have been involved in railroad operations from the ground up. Train Dispatcher 3 and Track Builder 3.
I use Microsoft Train Simulator was cool but still waiting for Microsoft Train Simulator 2 coming soon
At USA they sell Microsoft train Simulator 2 now or not yet still waiting ?
I use MS Train Simulator and am having a blast with it now that I have upgraded to Windows XP with 512 mb of RAM. I couldnt get it to run smooth on Windows 98 w/ p2-350. Now My wife comes in and says " What are you STILL on that!!" It is soooo habit forming
