What type of horn did Great Northern use?

What type of horn did Great Northern use? Im most interested in the horns on GN’s F45’s, SD45’s,and GP35’s. Thanks for any info.

I’m guessing that GN used a Leslie 3 chime.I’m not sure what model was used,but the bells of the Leslie horns were longer than Nathan and photos of GN units with the horns showing appear to have the longer Leslie bells.

billbtrain is pretty much correct. On the second generation EMDs that GN owned, the Leslie was the horn of choice. This trend actually began with the GP30s of 1963. Older units-and GEs-were equipped with other models-quite a few different ones. And, no, I’m not very sure of the exact horn model numbers either.
