while out this afternoon matt and I noticed a powder river coal train. they were newer alluminum cars with blue ends. but what was peculiar was they had names and job titles stenciled on the cars.[:)] must be nice to work for that company.

Probably CMO, I saw a whole train of them come through here a while back
hey, they stole that from my freelance rr! We have blue ends, and lately we’ve been stenciling names on our coal cars! Well, engines anyways, but I wobn’t be modelling it.

I have seen the CMO reporting mark on a lot of new UP coverd hoppers.
What kind of names? Like each employee had his/her own car, or like reporting markes with a number and stuff? The first one would be AWSOME
looked like they had an employees name and their title on the cars.pretty nice.and 2 up units were on the front.

But Joe–were they CMO cars? I haven’t seen any of those with names like you describe, though I have seen other companies do that. I hope you can get reporting marks and number series when they come back (which they will, in all likelihood).
