Hey guys![#welcome]
What is your NS roster?
[bow] LONG LIVE NORFOLK SOUTHERN[bow]
Only one: A Proto 2000 GP38-2 #5334
At home, I model the New York Central, with a little Erie thrown in. The NS locomotive is for the club layout for nights we decide to run modern (70s and newer) stuff. I like the black and white scheme.
Tom
Cool!
So far just one 8-40c, I figured since I’m doing csx & conrail I should just add ns along with my n & a .
So far just a forty foot gon. Although if you count Norfolk Western stuff too I also have an older style 50 foot boxcar. I model Conrail in the 1990s so I do need to expand my NS fleet a little but just ain’t got the money for it at the moment and got a want list about a zillion miles long.

Does this count? I model the WM in the Early 70’s…
Also have some rolling stock, no little ponies, though…
Lee
Yes it does count!
Zero. But they have moved to my “maybe” list since they can be seen consisted with a CSX loco.
No motive power, but I have two 60’ box cars and one jordan spreader.
I have 2 Proto 2000 GP38’s in Norfolk Southern colours.
I have a few pieces of rolling stock.
Hmm I have a few items lets see if I can remember them all. I am going to post the stuff from Southern, Conrail, and N&W as well since they all became the same company eventually.

NKP is part of NS so I have NKP stuff., like P2k NKP 765. Also NKP’s NKP 4-6-4 with elephant ears.
Layout still in development.
Oooh, another what’s your roster question I can actually answer. Well, maybe, I presume one is talking about locomotives only. With that assumption —> None.
One each J, road number 611, which usually resides in a display case but can occasionally (April Fool’s Day and Halloween) be found on the front end of a JNR passenger train passing through Tomikawa in the dead of night.
Also a couple of BB hoppers - which are scheduled for severe kitbashing, from which they will emerge as Tomikawa Tani Tetsudo cars of no acknowledged prototype ancestry.
Chuck (modeling Central Japan in September, 1964 - with tongue in cheek)
