Where in the USA are BNSF going to double mainline?

I have heard that they are going to double mainline Emporia Subdivision from Augusta to Emporia. For example Cassoday, Olivet, Matfield Green and the other cities. It wouldn’t be that hard after all the sidings all long.

Any mistakes I made were my fault cause I am 15.

Try from Mulvane to Wellington westward towards Kiowa and then to Amarillo…just a little too far away from Fredonia. Some is already complete. East of Mulvane you have capacity without multiple tracks.

Somebody has a solution for the subgrade failures that plague that line, especially around the Dam line chang that the US Army Corps could not solve?

I heard that eventually BNSF wants to completely double track on the Chicago to Los Angelas route.

I can’t speak for the heartland, but in Orange County/So Cal, along Orangethorpe, a second main track has been in place for many years now. There are some segments in LA and Orange Counties where new signal bridges have been installed that are wide enough for three main tracks. The signal masts for the third track are in place (as are some bridge decks further west, closer to LA) but much grading effort is needed before a 3rd track can be built.

A second span across the Pecos River in New Mexico will also be a long time coming. Not much of a river - but the bridge is most of a mile long.
