I posted this question a couple months ago and got several replies, but couldn’t pull it up again when I tried searching for it, so I’ll just ask again. I’ve asked both my local Home Depot and Lowes, and neither carry 2" foam sheets, and they said I’d probably have to order a minimum of more sheets than I’d need before they could special order it. Does anybody have the name and/or number of someplace around Atlanta (I’m on the east side) that they’ve found to be a reliable source of purchasing 4x8 sheets of 2" foam? I’ve called around and can’t find anyone that even has any leads.

The Home Depot at 5950 State Bridge Rd (between Hwy 141 and Peachtree Industrial) had 15 or so 4x8 sheets a couple week ago. I bought one sheet just to experiment with and see what the foam craze was all about. The major problem I saw was that it was expensive, $25 with tax , and some of the sheets had damage to the edges. The foam is 2" Owens Corning 150 pink extruded foam. Someone near Atlanta claimed to find the blue foam for $9 a sheet last year and I sure wish I could find that same source.

Sweet! Even for $25 a sheet, that’s better than trying to sandwich 3 or 4 sheets of 1/2 or 3/4 inch together just to get one 2" layer. I’ll try to ride up first part of next week when I’ve got some time off work. If they don’t have any more in stock, hopefully they’ll be able to get more in. Thanks for the tip! Anybody else know of any more places, by all means keep em coming. I’m doing a 21x20 room and I’m gonna need alot of this stuff.
