Where’s Phillip’s thread about being arrested? Do we have the gestapo working here, too?
Maybe it was requested to be removed for legal reasons as it involved a pending case, or was removed … it was regarding a felony crime (however justified you think) and I would assume this…
And as for the people typing/yelling “gestapo!” there is obviously little knowledge of that actual atrocious period of time and the REAL sufferings of people under those laws. what is being done is for the protection of the general public, by people putting their lives on the line everyday, for YOU.
The people who complain are also usually the same people who point the finger when things go wrong and disasters happen.
Maybe it was just deleted as it had lost its connection to Trains… yes he was railfanning but this is not a political forum , or a legal one.
Courtesy and common sense in this day and age should in itself prompt you to seek permission before photographing trains, railroad property, railroad operations… especially in an obviously restricted area.

Well the gestapo comment was only meant to describe the staff’s actions. Yall sure are quick to make assupmtions someone doesn’t know about something. I meant that only because Bergie (or whoever) removes a twhole thread where people have posted, with no explanation. I know, they don’t owe anyone anything. I know that. I would be nice to at least have one though, since whoever it is moderationg these forums seems to hardly EVER post a thing. I mean, I’m an admin and moderator at several forums, and I’m just one of the guys. It works for me. Are they too good to post with us, or what?
Strange, I havent heard of “the staff” breaking in the door of anyones houses in the middle of the night, dragging them out into the street and shooting them infront of the neighbors because they didnt agree with their policies… or packing them in cattle trucks to work them to death and then “re-cycling” the bodies into glue or other products… maybe I missed it.
I’m sure the millions upon millions of people who suffered the gestapo would feel blessed if their comments were merely erased (if that is what happened to the thread)

I’m not sure where it went, but I think everything that really needed to be said, was. It’s fine by me that it’s gone. Maybe it’s actually a good thing. It was getting a bit “political” in there. Let’s not have that happen here too.
