Hmmm… Nothing huge jumps out at me. I wonder why the discharge chute on the hopper over the roof of the mill is above one of the bay doors…kind of precludes use of the bay if a truck is being loaded. Also, I don’t see a crossbuck on the far side of the crossing. Could just be the angle. And I can’t tell if the right side utility pole is casting a shadow on the backdrop or if it is meant to be a more distant pole.

One of those is in the ballpark Crandell. Don’t look quite so hard.

Looks to me as if the brace on the power pole is on the wrong side, as the lines in the foreground appear to veer off to the right. A pole-type brace should be in compression.
Wayne
first thought was, too, the power pole…
It looks like the bridge can’t expand so it is placed without the parts, on the bridgehead(?) that could prevent bending the bridge when hot/warm temp.??( don’t know the english expression for this phenomenon)[:$]
Can’t find anything else that could be “wrong”…
Jos
The tunnel portal above the car doesn’t seem to be going anywhere…
The chute does not appear to reach over the rail. So, it is not meant for rail loading?
I think even a truck might not be able to be loaded since it would have to be almost over the edge of the cliff.
NO chain or leaver to activate the coal shoot. No one minding the store in the caboose.

… and Wayne wins the coveted prize! [bow]
Yes, a push brace must PUSH against the moment of the wires instead of helping it to topple the pole. My first clue was going to be that an electrical engineer (like me) would likely notice it right away.
There are some other small “opinion” issues and “not sure if” issues but that’s the glaring one for me. Great job crew !
Karl
Great first thought. Is expansion the word you are looking for? There may be expansion joints in the bridge deck. I cannot tell if there are shoes under the ends either. I always want to see these scenes from multiple angles. LOL
Karl
The angle cock on the caboose was left open.
Also, the black truck has an expired inspection sticker.
“Ring around the collar?” No. Shadows on the backdrop? Yes.
Either that or there are two chutes at the mill and two telephone poles.
The best way to hide anything is to leave it in plain sight.

That was fun. How about a few more?
Thanks Harry, If I can recall where my opps photos are I will periodically post more. If not then more will come along in the press or in person. I was hoping that some of us would have fun with these.
