Who here would consider narrow gauge modeling, but don't & why not?

I like the On21/2 stuff but, can’t bring myself to model a saw mill, finishing plant and plywood plant switching layout in that scale.

Come to think of it, I am actually into narrow gauge model railroading. I have just finished the “benchwork” for my first set of modules and I am waiting for my order of track to be delivered to fish them.

Hard to believe, but this beauty is a narrow gauge loco:

"Standard “gauge in Japan is 3´6”, so it´s by definition narrow gauge. Btw, this is N scale and the loco sell for about $100!

Ulrich, that is a beautifull model! What brand is it? I am impressed to say the least! MIke

It’s a Kato.

Monsieur Andre Chapelon is right, it is a Kato loco. In fact, it was this loco with its fantastic detail that made me finally decide to solve my never ending space issue and switch to the iNvisible scale. This one impressively shows what´s possibel in N scale today at tolerable cost.

I understand the Kato is re-doing their line of Japanese prototype steamer and that there will be more locos like this one to come.

Ulrich:

Thanks for the correction on the HOe designation.
