who makes RR decials or where can I find them at?

I’d painted model too,R/C boats and cars, trucks… No different then painting real cars.same paint prepration .I just use better Auto Paints …Go on my Bowser T-1 thread Silver pilot… My train pics are posted!!! I got some guys who’s wants me to paint there T-1’s!! To bad this site doesn’t have an off topic area,Then we’ll post pics of our paint jobs even real auto paint jobs…Your the one who criticize/started about my spelling…Oh silver pilot ,get any first place trophy’s with your painted models?..Sorry guys for my commits,I hate trouble makers and haters…My bowser train is my first train to build and paint…I’d try to call champ but they closed early do to somthing?I’ll check tomarrow…

I like Champ decals best. They are thicker then Microscale, but I don’t have a problem with them…

The T-1 decals cost a good deal more, because there are so many of them needed of the complete locomotive.

Nick

are they water side or vinyl stick on’s??

Champs are waterslide. You could also call Bowser, I have often made small orders by phone and only been charged actual postage.

That is a very good question that you can ask Bowser yourself. If you feel that the shipping for a decal sheet is too much, give them a call, tell them that you are only interested in buying a decal set and see if they can send out the decals for the price of a stamp. If you don’t ask, you’ll pay a lot, the most they can tell you is “no” but you may get lucky and get the decals sent for a small price.

If you can’t find a complete, satisfactory set of decals, then you might want to consider making your own. Only you know for sure what it is you want.

As far as your spelling goes, well IMO, your printed words are an extension of yourself…what message are you sending us?

Ah, that should be “I’ve got some guys who want me to paint their T-1s.” English lesson time. who’s is possessive; did you mean ‘whose’? If you use guys, plural, then it should be want, not wants. Their, not there, like in a place. And T-1’s is possessive; T-1s is plural. Let me guess - you spell also as “all so” and Thanksgiving as Thank’s Giving. Just to too two more

Go back and re-read the thread. I wasn’t the first to criticize your spelling. I think I was the thrid.

Yes, I do. I won my NMRA division’s monthly model contest four months in a row. It also happened to be the first four times I ever entered the monthly contest. They do eight monthly contests, with a 1st half and a 2nd half award. The first time anyone has ever won (1st place) in all four months in one half. There is a lot of difference between painting a steam locomotive black and painting multi-color paint jobs.

Saw the other thread. Like I said, painting a loco black is not that difficult, but concittering (ed.) it should be Brunswick green? Can’t wait to see it with vinyl decals. [:-^] Let us know when you’re able to get it to actually pull some cars and not uncouple. Horn-hook couplers?? On a T-1?? Really??

silver pilot I’ve won first place three years in a row with my R/C boats …going to take another next year too…As far as me painting my T-1 black, well the T-1 and most of PRR trains where black in the first place until they oxidized… PRR used black paint then put copper powered in there black, then after awhile the paint starts to turn green…You know when copper get exposed to the elements it start to turn green…as you said it easy to paint a train black?? wrong! Black will show any imperfections!!..Black will show sins/flaws…!..Any auto-body man know that black will show flaws/sin/waves/dents,dings, if the work isn’t done properly…I still got to do some paint details on it too …like painting the center trucks bearing caps silver…paint the water valves nobs red…then put glass in the cab of boiler then put the decals on then give it a high gloss of clear.then the body is done…Then I’m re motoring it and putting sound&smoke in it too… So keep on being the hater silver pilot…

Boys, boys. As was mentioned earlier, none of us is perfect.

Actually “who’s” is a contraction of “who is” - the possessive form is, as noted “whose”.

Now can we get back to trains.

Josey, order the darn decals and finish the loco - I wanna see some pictures. [swg] [(-D] [(-D] [(-D]

Well Josey, which is which? Factory paint or custom paint?

Josey:

I like what I have seen of your work. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished, decaled model. I’ll also be interested in your re-motoring work.
