I am building the attached layout. So far the track is finished except for the 2 WYE’s.The track isn’t wired yet. I have a number of questions about the WYE turnouts and wiring:

  1. Where would I need gaps?
  2. Will 1 auto reverser work or do I need 2?
  3. Do I need to set up power districts for the WYE turnouts?
  4. I have a NCE power cab, I assume that I will probably need a booster. All turnouts are DCC. The power cab is 2 amp, what size booster do you think I need?

There’s no attached layout diagram that I can see.

Generally, you will want one autoreverser for each reversing wye or loop.

On necessity of more power than 2A, it comes down to how many locos will be pulling at once and the characteristics of same. Idling DCC locos with just sound and lights on use less power. Rather old locos may have higher current draw motors. The following item suggests (for HO) a rule of thumb of 0.5A per loco.
