Till Then, Dave

Man! I always miss by one number, or in this case a word![][banghead] - Peter

I didn’t make yesterdays date Too worn out from hauling 3000 lb’s of rock and dirt to finnish town and Track. The ballisting is comming along grate.I ran a two car brick train pushing them over the completed areas and then Pulling the two unloaded flat cars for about 2hr’s without incident. So that means the Main line has reopened

Dave

Yikes

, I remeber when I hauled 5 or 6 loads of rock on my wagon, each about 500 lbs, also non train related., over uneven ground and two hills. Then I hauled maybe 15 other loads of of about 50-200lbs. I was tired that month, but it helped get stronger for discus[:D]! Shame now that I can’t get those rocks back. I also bent the axle on my wagon. What are you kind of ballast are you using and what method are you using? - Peter

1/4minius blue $52.00 a yard, mine had a lot extra fine dust working just like gule .

Dump and spread 2/3 full 5gal bucket’s First picture is before test run

This is my ballist clearing and track cleaning train ( F3 Slide’s do the cleaning ) pushed first

Dave

Let’s see now, three thousand pounds at 1:24 scale (rough estimate) works out to thirty-six tons! No wonder you claim to be tired! Looking good my friend. All right, you’ve had your fifteen minute break for the day, now get back to work.[(-D]

Nice work on the the ballast. It really looks good! - Peter

Peter, I forgot to ask was that up hill both ways??[}:)]

LOL Dave

Fortunaltly not, but if I wan to get those rocks back, I get to drag them in my wagon 2 miles back[:(!][]. - Peter

Just put them in the back of your Mom’s car along with her plant’s that accedently were run over with the lawn mower…[:-^]

Dave

My dad would have to drive and I can’t drag him into my mess[:-^] Then again I could hide the evidence under the shed with the 'posums…[:-,] And since I tore out my wrist removing paving stones for my mom, I could snacth a few of those too…[oX)]. - Peter
