WPF 26, 27, 28

I guess I will start it. I have been working on the upper part of the layout with mountains, and working on the backdrop. Heres a few shots of it, and also I added the weathered boxcar I finished up.

Here we go…

Nice job Robby!

I’ll continue the weathering pics, here’s my U23B (I’ve weathered three boxcars and two other locos, pics soon):

Nice weathering guys! Robby, I like the way your rock work came out.

About all I have to show right now is the start of the platform for my “temporary” Freight House at Hopewell Junction. The platform is scratch built from scale lumber, board by board construction. Unfortunately, I am now out of 1" x 4" lumber so I am waiting on the mill to ship me a load more so I can get this part of it finished. The interior will be detailed and lighted as well.

Got me a late Christmas gift this morning. An Athearn GP38-2.

HI Packers, nice weathering; lets get those links working and give this WPF a bump to the top!! [:D]

Nrw road and town on the backdrop.

Montana Rail Link’s “Business Special” passenger cars with Mr. Washington’s private car The Silver Cloud bringing up the rear was photographed entering and exiting the Bozeman Tunnel at Muir, Montana while heading from Missoula to Billings and back again. The Silver Cloud is in the process of being repainted and is without lettering or numbers at the present time these photos were taken. Montana Rail Link’s SD45-2 #310 and SD45 #369 supply the power for the pull.

Thanks. Thought I made them clickable in my original post, but oh well. [:P]

I’m busy with the gates for the oil dealer at Diamond Valley.

Wolfgang

Hi folks, and best wishes of the season. Last week, Lou (lvanhen) correctly pointed out that I needed to alert my HO drivers that at the next intersection the road they were driving on was becoming a one-way road (in the opposite direction).

I’ve corrected that now (Thanks Lou)… I think the sign might be too high - I may cut 'er down a touch. Cheers.

Wolfgang, that scene looks outstanding! I love the weed-grown siding. Is that fence the BLMA kit?

Hmm, I have a better Idea. The sign is the right height for street running. [:D] It would clear the boxcars at least.

Great Modeling as always. I love the MRL cars, it;s a great scheme.

I’m presuming that those gates are powered Wolfgang?

In it’s present location, the sign prohibits vehicles from entering the intersection, thus requiring them to make a U-turn. Why not eliminate it altogether and just run traffic in the other direction?

Another truck for sale

Actually the sign forces the cars to make a left turn unless a Do Not Enter and a Left Turn Only sign contradict each other. True, you make a good point that I could indeed make the one-way street go in the opposite direction, but I already have a bunch of One Way signs posted that point the other way… I admit I’m too lazy to change them all. Cheers.
