your favorite scale.

Your are mixing scales and guages, chose one or the other.

Scales: 1:220 (Z), 1:160 (N), 1:120 (TT 1/10"), 1:87.1 (HO), 1:76 (OO), 1:64 (S), 1:48 (O - USA (1/4"), 1:43.5 (O - England), 1:32 (1), 1:29, 1:24 (1/2"), 1:22.5 (G), 1:20.3 (F), 1:16 (3/4"), 1:13.7 (7/8"), 1:12 (1"), 1:10, 1:8 (1½")… and I probably left some out…

Guages: wide (5ft, 6ft,…) , standard (4ft 8½"), narrow ( 42", metre, 3ft, 30", 2ft, 18", 15"…)

Wellllllllll,

As a matter of fact both my favourite scales are missing.
I model HOm and 2m. Both are Metergauge for the respective scales and I figure if HOn3 is worth mentioning then HOm should be too.
BTW 2m is Meter gauge on 45mm track gauge. The scale is 1:22.5 which makes it quite close to correct (1.2% error). This in contrast to much else that runs on 45mm track.

I model in HO, but if I could start over it would be On3.

No TT on the poll.

I model in HO but would like to model in TT. Don’t have the skills yet for “the scratchbuilder’s scale.”

My favorite scale is 1:1 but I have to leave the modeling in it to those with the $$$$

I’d like to model a nice new brick/Adobe ranch house with a basement and 2 car
garage.

I model in HO, It has the greatest number of Steam Engines available than any other scale. You can get away with good detailing without having to super detail. The only other scale that appeals to me is N scale, I like long meandering trains that goes through twisting valleys, I like panoramas, what can I say.

Fergy, thats the main reason I stayed in HO instead of switching to N scale a few years ago. [:o)] All the planned high level steam.

I have always modeled in HO, standard gauge. I like the fact that the Walther’s Catalog is the biggest for HO and know there is still thousands of items available which Walthers doesn’t list! However, if I had space and money, I think I would model in On3. I love the massivness of O!

I do HO scale. I tried N scale but it is too small for me. Get more in a small space but I like HO more

Thanks,
Jeremy

only have room for N scale
