I always enjoy seeing your pics. [:p]
Thanks for posting them for us to see. [;)]
Keep up the great work. [:)]
Jees – here you were within just an inch of me … … … … …
The Willamette and Pacific GP39-2’s are all ex ATSF. Some have been repainted.
W&P and P&W also have several ex-SP SD9’s and a couple of GP 9’s, one of which is repainted into it’s original Black Widow colors.
The LaGrande-Baker pic looks like it is between La Grande and Union just before the Hot Springs and the grade up Telocast Hill. BTW, why were you going around Ladd Canyon on the old US 30?
As you may have noticed (!!?!!), at Wishram you don’t take any pictures of the yard while moving!
N C: Enjoyed your photos. Saw a similar accident of a truck and bridge near Kingman, Az many years ago…Low Boy trailer had a large tank chained to it and the load was too high to clear and it actually ripped the trailer apart right behind the trailer hitch. Tank was mashed in and both the tank and trailer were wedged under the bridge. Tractor made it through with several feet of the trailer…It bent the beams on the bridge but Imagine it was repairable.
Nice pics, that’s quite the accident with the intermodal truck.
Reminds me of a while back I saw a similiar thing with a truck hauling a pre-fab house, WOOPS!
The whole thing was just totaled.
