I took another weekend trip down to Marysville for a return visit to the Bridgeview Bed and Breakfast at The Rockville Bridge in Marysville, Pa. It had snowed on Friday, so when I arrived late that evening, I took some night shots of the B@B . On Saturday and Sunday, Keith Latimer (the B@B owner) and I did some railfanning around the area, including a visit to the former PRR Harris Tower at Harrisburg, which is open to visitors from Summer until early November on Saturdays. I have added 31 new pics to my Flickr album with some highlights from the weekend activities. The newest pics have been added to the top of the album. …Enjoyed your latest photos of the bridge area Dave…and especially liked the night shots. Seems I’m partial to them. Guess all of them grab me since I’m a Pennsylvania native.
Thanks, Quentin…The night shots were my first stab at night photography, so I guess they didn’t turn our too bad considering that I took them without a tripod and let the camera choose the settings as I’m not up to snuff yet as far as choosing manual settings.
As I was driving up River Road upon arrival that evening, the snow, and holiday lights strung along the front porch railing and candle lights in the windows of the B@B made for a inviting holiday type atmosphere.
