Caboose BNSF

Just leave the caboose in Paterson, NJ … I gtd it would get tag!!![oX)]

And stripped…

[:D][:D][:D][:D]

It’s great to see a caboose with no grafitti! All the ones around here have been totally vandalized by the local gang bangers.[:(!]

Just to clarrify there is a difference between a graffiti artist or “vandal” and a gang banger or “bangers”. Gang bangers spend more time involved in other illegal activities than they do on graffiti(if they do at all) and their graffiti tends to look like they should have spent more time on the drawing board…Whereas the graffiti artist/“vandal” spends 100% of the time involved in graffiti activities and obviously improving their hand skills in a short time.

tomatoe/ tamatoe. Both are breaking the law.

Are you trying to tell me that graffiti artist is a profession? You got to be kidding me…

yeah in some ways. Many graffiti legends’ work is now in various art musems, some have clothing lines or shoe lines, and some get payed to have their art appear in games or movies. For instance Cope2 has his graffiti featured in the newest GTA video game. Indie’s art was in that game as well. Cope2 and JA graffiti pieces were featured in a scene in Disney’s Shrek 2 movie…or was it 3? i cant remember. Whatever the latest one is.

The idea tho for most is not to make money, but to get fame by putting their name out there. Almost like advertisers do, get your name seen. The more you do the more “famous” you get.

Nice to see railroads actually putting time and money in cabooses in 2008.

Enjoy!

This isnt the 80’s nobody pays attention to commericals or advertisments anymore, Graffiti just makes cities look dirty and ghetto.

You cant be famous if nobody cares

It only takes a few “popular” players to make the whole “game” popular. Graffiti in general is selling, on clothing, in movies/games. Corporations are actually hiring former graffiti artists to design logos and labels…like pepsi/mountain dew with the green label art bottles. All because of some individuals in the 70s and 80s that liked to see their name in “up”. It keeps growing and growing and growing.

…btw, that post brings your count to…666.

ITs too little ! Needs to be a bit bigger, like on the new covered hoppers…[2c]

I’m actually surprised graffiti taggers go after cabooses. If I were doing it I wouldn’t touch a caboose simply because I’d think somebody is in it and probably has a radio or something to call the police.

They know just as you and I know that cabooses are hardly ever manned. Alot of those BN cabooses still in use dont have windows on the side so its not like anyone would spot em from it unless they were out on the deck, in which case i doubt the artist would even walk near the caboose.

…Graffiti trashes America…and of course as we all know, it’s illegal.
