Every time I try to access the track plan data base to view a trackplan I get a blank page when it is done loading. I am signed in and a member so what gives? I tried to look at some things from a particular thread this weekend and was frustrated by the fact I could not see what was being referenced.
It is working ok for me, although I did have some significant log-in problems about a week ago that were the result of one or more corrupted cookies on my pc.
You are a current magazine subscriber right? It’s perk for those that subscribe. The forums are free but not part of the subscriber deal so just because you are signed in and member, you don’t automatically get the data base
It’s 5 PM and I was able to search the track plan database without a problem. I may be fortunate but I have not experienced any problems since the makeover was completed.
I do not understand why I cannot go back after commenting on a thread and I really do dislike having to delete a lot of text to be able to quote a small part of a thread I am commenting.
I do not see the compatibility icon anywhere. I am using firefox on this system. I had the same problem with my laptop as well. Both have adobe reader on them and I have tried to load the newest version with no great success.
Try a different browser…(Internet Explorer). If it works, then you’ll know there is something amiss with your version of Firefox. I use IE8 and have no problems looking at the track plans.
It’s a database. Information in databases is not always correct. Could be that your forum account for some reason is not properly tagged as a current subscriber.
Log in, verify that your subscription to Model Railroader Magazine is current (according to the forum records)
If there still is a problem (you are listed as a current subscriber but still not get access, or you are not listed as current subscriber despite being one), click on “Contact customer service” and have them fix the problem.
ended up having to remove all versions of adobe reader and then re installing them again. What a pain. Not sure why it happened but it did. I could not download any updates from the website until I did this. Now the laptop is another story, it keeps giving me a missing plugin message and I can get no where from there. Oh well at least one is working.
