It is 50 degrees and raining. Going up to 55 today with some rain / some sunshine.

Today is an easy day. I plan on running trains, later this afternoon. Chores this morning.

Omlet for breakfast being served on the Dining Car.

Y’all have a great New Year’s Day.

Happy New Years!!

We’ll be dull dull dull and foggy today…supposed to go from 56F down to 28F this afternoon then to 13F overnight…the freezebox will be here tomorrow at 17F for a high…

Have a good safe day today…and may you have a successful and prosperous year!!

Happy New Year from the Heartlands! Two days ago it was 61 … today it’s 10 with strong winds :frowning: Several hours in the train room yesterday, felt good.

Best wishes for a healthy and prosperous New Year!

Happy New Year!

I managed to stay awake long enough to see the festivities in New York and then promptly fell asleep. I was confident that the rest of the country would see the new year in with plenty of festivities.

I hope that all readers and participants here on the Pot have a wonderful relaxing day and a healthy and prosperous new year, with plenty of time to enjoy our loved ones and our trains.

Safe and sane this AM. Asleep at 9 pm, up at 5 am, just a normal day. Off to a Greenburg show today.

HAVE A GREAT YEAR U’LL![tup]

Pat

May 2011 be twice as good ad 2010 was!

Spanky is getting ready to watch the Rose Bowl parade.

Happy New Year to all Coffee Pot Members.

Managed to stay up until midnight. In bed by 12:03, asleep by 12:04. Slept in today until almost 9:00, I could get used to this business of not having to drag myself to work in the AM.

Yesterday I repaired a broken search light on MTH Standard Gauge car. Brasseur’s Trains in Michigan supplied the parts, they were great to deal with. I had originally purchased the searchlight with the broken light at York several years back for about $35 and spent that much on the repair. Still a bargain including the repair.

Watching some standard gauge on eBay, might not buy anything but it’s fun to watch.

Will probably start taking down outdoor decorations this AM because it is supposed to be near 50. Possibility of some rain later so I better do it now.

Think I am going to dig out my one and only Flyer outfit and set up a carpet layout. I’ll lube it and give it some run time later today.

Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys some football as well as traditional New Years Day foods. The Mrs. wants me to make some oyster stew later today. I’ll have to run to the store to get the ingredients.

Take care,

Mitch

Happy New Year

50 and no snow…yea

Only good thing about the North. Along with Buckeyes [the candy, not the people [;)]]

Cloudy and extra warm. Rain tonight and into tomorrow morning. Not suppose to have the storms that hit yesterday in other parts of the Country. Got TWC coming ot move modem. Then may hunt. Wifey cooking blackeyed peas. Planning on eating a million. [:O] Rumor is you get a dollar for each one you eat. [:-^] Getting all outdoor Christmas up. Got to attend a funeral down east tomorrow [near the Edgecombe house].

Have a good one.

Now that we have the obigatory New Year’s greetings completed, except for the F&Ns on the left coast, we now must say:
