With fall approaching and shorter days
upon us, I caught the westbound NS 23Z
on Thursday evening at the historic Rockville
Bridge in Marysville, PA. By the time it
arrived, at 19:33, the arches west of the signal
were in shadow so I zoomed in with the 17-40mm
lens to just include the signal on the right
side of the image:

What an awsome picture! I always see pictures like this and think god, I should see that some time! But maybe I should get out and enjoy what’s right around where I live too. I guess that’s whats so cool about railfanning because it’s not necessarily somewhere else but where you live too.

Cool shot! Gotta love central PA pride.
Was comin down 322 on friday and was gonna get a cool shot, but traffic was too busy where I was about a mile north.
