IF CSX comes up with a good new name and adopts it, let’s start looking for a replacement for “BNSF”!
I was thinking about that this morning–how it has never lived up to the Q’s “Everywhere West” slogan as much as it does now.
So true, well beyond anything with just the Burlington.
Speaking of “everywhere,” I’m reminded that Uncle Pete’s combined passenger train, running across Wyoming, was nicknamed the “City of Everywhere.”
Why should CSX bother changing their name right now? In a few years when UP purchases CSX and merges the company under the UP banner CSX’s name won’t matter anyways.
You won’t believe it, but I was thinking about that this morning, too…Wouldn’t the blue CSX units look nice with UP patches on the nose, and large flags over the logo on the sides?
Bad fortunes or no, I have a hard time believing that the feds would let UP have that much of a monopoly
If I remember correctly; CSX stands for Chessie-Seaboard-Extra, (or expandable.)
As far as the actual name, guess we’ll still be guessing; but here’s a possible Logo
that could be used, in incorporating the cat.
(My apologies, or no offense meant to whomever posted this one first.)
The American Flags Would Look good over the lettering, but definitely NO UP
designation anywhere!!
Yes mutt you still have the gift of looking through the myrk and coming up with something that just might make a bit more sense when you think about it.
Good to be back

I agree with your statement. The Federal Goverment would not allowed the formation of a Monopoly…

NOW SEE WHAT YOU DID! I HAVE TO GO AND MAKE THAT NOW! Curses you! (kidding… except about the making that part)
