You had me guessing until I realised that I had asked about Mt Shasta earlier. Sounds like a very scenic area of California.
I have ordered some motoring maps from a local map shop of the U.S. East and West. The brand I chose shows not only the highways and roads, but also has the railway lines.
Also includes town down to populatins of 10,000 so it will be a real help in following along with the comments from you “up over” Forum Folk when you mention towns and routes etc.
I looked on the site and I only see thier F9 if they inherited an E9 I want pictures as I lived along the BN in La Grange and used to see those all the time. I will be calling them this after noon to see if I can get an equipment roster
Don’t forget the 3 Conrail Executive E8s that pulled the Conrail OCS Special. They were sold by NS and one guy (forget his name) bought 2 and restored them to Pennsy Es. They recently pulled a troop train on the NEC, according to Trains Mag.
Bennet Levin is the guy. He’s got all three ex-CR Es. The 4020 and 4021 he restored to their original PRR appearance and numbers. The third one, 4022, is ex-Erie/EL 833. He hasn’t decided what to do with that one yet.
FWIW, his son Eric is the shop manager at Pavonia (Camden) for Conrail.
I saw the Juniata Terminal E’s at Dennison,Oh in 2004.Absolutely beautiful.I wi***hey could work their magic on B&O 36,which is at their shop(I think).
