Fading static grassin

My scenery is fading over time. In particular, the static grass i have put down or made weed clumps with. My layout is located in a spare room that was originally designated as a den and has a double window. We keep the blinds down and the curtains drawn, but the Florida sun has had it’s way.

Is there a preventative measure that can be taken to minimize the fading?
Any techniques for recoloring the grass beyond ripping it out and replacing it?

I often hit my terrain with the airbrush if I don’t like what I see. Greenery, dirt, rocks and anything else that may need an adjustment. Just set the brush to very fine.

And use a colorant that is less UV-sensitive.

There are also UV-blocking coatings that can be sprayed on… if you ‘shot’ the static grass with that sort of product after weathering it, you might not see fading in the first place…
