Running a 4-4-0 that’s been on long-term loan from my friend, Ed Kapuscinski. When it arrived, it was a painted but unlettered model. He let me decorate it as Central of Georgia No. 349.

Davefoxx: I gotta ask. Where is your ground ivy from? Brand, color? And the cat tails? Everything is so convincing, nothing in your scenes to spoil the effect. Dan

New Haven 1218 is on the front end of a short train tonight, showing off her freshly painted orange handrails and grab irons! The model came with black handrails and grabs so I spent some time painting tonight to make her more accurate!

The kudzu is merely SuperLeaf material over Polyfiber stretched really thin. If I remember correctly, the cattails are from JTT.

Thanks,

In the mid 1990s my Dad (and Mom) gave me this Rivarossi BigBoy. It sat in a box until a month ago. It took a little work but this is a picture from the first time I ever got to see it run, It looks a little funny n the small layout but made me think of my Dad. He was an avid model railroader.
