Gargraves/any track system curves?

I’m new and building a layout in gargraves here. I want a two+ rail mainline and switches connecting through each other. How do I make the curves equal distance while still having the switches without bending connections too much? I know the math regarding radius and stuff but its out the window when I add a fixed distance. Planning o-72 and o-80 or higher. Suggest any other combination to make the distance equal?

I’m guessing when you say “two+ rail mainline” you mean like a double-track or triple-track mainline and not two-rail track; since you mention Gargraves and O-72 / O-80, I assume you’re talking about three-rail O gauge track. If so, you might want to re-post this over in the Classic Toy Trains magazine’s forum. More people over there will be familiar with Gargraves track and most likely can help you.

I clarified it over on the repost (mostly). And yes that is what I’m talking about. Thanks for the advice and happy to be here.

Have you thought about using a CAD program such as Anyrail or Scarm to help you get some ideas?

Sectional track list:

This is that I’m doing right now. I can not seem to get it lined up quite right. I’d prefer not to use a flex track if I do not have to.
