I got
1 Bachmann GP7 with dynamic brakes (Clinchfield- which doesn’t matter as it will get repainted for the PL&M anyway)
1 Bachmann Doodlebug with Coach.
1 VGN Boxcar

Those tombstones will come in handy, especially next to the church you have or are going to build. Old churches around here all have cemetaries around/beside/behind them if they had room and the city allowed it.
SO son’t dispare, I have a set for my yet to be built church too.

Just a $25 gift certificate to the hobby shop and a A-B set of ALCo PA-1’s in EL colors.

I didn’t get any trains, but I did get the following:
$150.00 (Going towards trains, as soon as I can get to the hobby shop)
an old reccord with railroad songs.
a tiger-strippe cammo booney hat and a back pack (Both now added to my railfan gear.)
With the $150.00, I should be able to get a good Athern locomotive or two (or mabe that Bachmenn GP-30 I’ve been eyeing, along with that turntable and roundhouse[:)])
I recieved a Atlas Silver GP 40-2, two woodland scenics buildings, and $150.00 in gift certificates to my favorite hobby store.
Nothing here I’m afraid[:(]
But I’m not too worried, my SD70M-2 ships tomorrow (at last![swg])
The other nice thing about Randy is that he has a great sense of humor. If you haven’t, you should tell him the whole story, I’m sure he’ll get a kick out of it.
I like 3rdPlanit myself, its a terrific program.

not under the tree but I have been aquiring some goodies over time. Biggee was the 2-8-8-8-4 triplex, but I had other things on the burner, found 2 brass Chicago Surface Lines Fairfield cars, these look like your classic Bachmann streetcar but a little bigger-longer. Found a North Shore Steeple Cab loco, and also an 0-4-4-0T, of course got the Hiawatha trainset with the 4-4-2, been an interesting purchasing year.
My wife gave me acute bronchitis for Christmas. AND… this WS building.
Actually, I don’t know who gave the bronchitis to whom but we both ended up in one of those urgent care places Christmas morning after being sick with it a couple of days. Had to cancel her family for Christmas eve and the trip to our daughters to be with her and the grandkids Christmas Day. Sucked to be us this Christmas… [:(]
But on the way home from seeing the doctor and picking up the required meds we passed a homeless guy standing on the corner in a driving cold wind, looking like he just didn’t know what to do or which way to go. I drove on home in my heated truck and into a warm house, climbed in a soft recliner and fell asleep, thinking what a jerk to feel sorry for myself.
It doesn’t suck to be me at all and I’m very thankful for it.

Still busting down chunks of coal into little chunks of coal![(-D]
Bethany & West Liberty RR, as in Bethany and West Liberty, W.Va?

No new trains for this old modeler. But, I did get the large SuperTrees box with flocks and matte medium. I also got the latest Fine Scale Miniatures kit and several water columns from Diamond Scale. I was hoping for an N&W Y6b or Class A from Precision Scale. No luck. On the other hand, I did order the Division Point N&W RPO and baggage cars for N&W.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.[<:o)]
Still unemployed. No trains or gifts, period for me. But we must remember the reason for all of this. Should we not?
This year Santa brought me the complete Empire Builder passenger set of Walthers coaches. I lucked out as Walthers had most of the Empire coaches on sale, only had to pay regular price for a couple of them.
The coaches which are still in transit will be mated with an ABBA set of Intermountain F7 coaches in the Empire Builder livery.
It sure paid off being very selective in buying the set, I paid quite a bit less than what several E-Bay vendors are asking for the Empire Builder sets which is way over the original MSFP.
Absolutely, none. No Christmas tree either. But I did have a long lay in bed and when I arose, I joined with family and freinds who had decended upon me to celebrate Christmas and the joy of the season.
