Enjoy.
Thanks for starting it Chief.
Prays to continue in you beating this.
Wha? Wait? It’s June already?[zzz]
74 and sunny. Agenda today is water. Chances of rain look good for Thursday and Friday. Tomatoes turning ripe.
Didn’t sleep well. Think a shave and shower will help.
Thanks for the prayers.
Enjoy the day.
Sunny and 89
I sleep 9 hours all the time, seem to need it.
Going to a senors group at church, Olive Garden on the way home for all you can eat soup and salad. Then a few groceries. Experience has taught me that will be the day. I take it plenty easy in retirement.
Time flys when you’re having fun ! Supposedly …
Chief, A shower is required since it is the first day of the month. Why wait, get it over with and you will have the rest of the month to not worry about one. [:o)]
“Eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes and waffles.”
Sounds like a “Super Lumberjack” breakfast selection at any number of Jersey diners! (And if it’s a REAL Jersey diner they serve breakfast 24 hours a day.)
Jeez, NOW I’m hungry, and the nearest Jersey diner is 350 miles away!
It’s like 1000-1100 miles away for me.No Jersey diner for a few years for me. Wayne
Sounds like the Christmas brunch I used to cook! Only you’d have to add Belgian waffles, bacon, hash browns and sticky buns! Ready to cook=[C=:-)] After I cooked=[zzz]
I could go for those too! [dinner]
Yeah, it can be rough at times for exiles like us, can’t it? [:'(]
Not sorry I left mind you, but there are occasions…
I’ll tell you Wayne (BTW, my name’s Wayne too!) if it weren’t for the diners, bakeries, burger and hot dog joints, pizzarias, bagel shops, ice cream places and Shop-Rite EVERYONE in NJ would have left years ago! [;)]
June? I thought yesterday was May 32nd and posted appropriately [:-^]
Not much to report. Some neighbors dropped by last night and we enjoyed some beverages on the back porch.
NJ diners are the best! [tup]
Chief [angel]
Morning all.
Not much to report. The long weekend was a nice break but without dad it was less than perfect. Always keep in my mind the reason for the weekend.
Finally took the cover off the pool last night as they are calling for rain the next 2 days and then 80s+ over the weekend. As usual crystal clear water. I don’t know what I do to deserve it but the pool gods are good to me.
Used to eat a lot at the Meadowland’s Diner right outside the sports complex in East Rutherford. Always a decent meal. I can still remember they wouldn’t call Boston Cream Pie, Boston Cream pie. Something to do with the Patriots. LOL!
Here is a video from this weekend’s train run. Enjoy and stay safe.
Can’t imagine why. [;)]

THE LUMBERJACK SONG (2020) - A Comedy Star Wars Fan Film - Bing video
Morning. 73 and cloudy. Dogs and I chased a batch of squirrels out of the bird feeders. Coffee and Thick Egos. Now relax.
Good news. Slept 9 hours. New record. Slept 6 1/2 hours without waking. Then right back to sleep.

Should start having rain tonight. Watered yesterday so all is fine. Side dressed all my veggie plants before watering.
In that vein I thought about linking the Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Vader video, but it’s not exactly “family friendly,” if you get my drift.
Even I have limits!
Wayne, I don’t consider myself an exile, more like an escapee. I still do miss all the things you covered. Wayne (in Indiana)
Yeah, I get it, “escapee” may be closer to the mark than “exile.” Like you, we got to the point where endurance ceased to be a virtue.
We’re not alone, according to United Van Lines NJ’s Number One in the country for move-outs. New York’s #2, Illinois is #3.
