June Coffee Pot 17 years and going with eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes and waffles. Enjoy.

Good Morning -

Fife - Yup - been there MANY times — lol - glad you had a nice visit!!

The Gulf side is much nicer than the Ocean side in my opinion.

Chief - Continued Prayers for your treatments

Banks - Enjoy your vacation!!

Rained for most of the afternoon and into the early evening - so we got our fill of precipitation for the week

Sunny right now - 70s and low humidity for the next 2 days - Friday all the SUMMER weather comes back - I’m good with that

Off to softball this afternoon - I should be there in plenty of time with these new hours. Need to get that stuff together for later, did all my laundry yesterday.

The kids have a visitor at the house, so I haven’t been up in the train attic - sadly with Carlisle coming up, I may not get up there until after that - I still have

Mornin’ all!

Up all by myself this morning. The boys’ last day of school was yesterday, no more getting up at 6:45 to make sure they’re ready for school virtually at 7:20. I’ve mainly had to do that for Corey, Tyler’s been getting himself up for most of the year.

I’m kind of sad this morning. This ends a chapter in our life, 'cause over the summer Tyler will be going down to VA to go to school. He can’t wait, he really wants out of NJ. But it’s bittersweet to see him go. And it’s impossible (and I won’t try) to convey to him that what he’s leaving he will miss ineffably later on in his life.

Linda gets her 2nd Pfizer shot today. We need to have Corey get his shot, I think I will set that up for next week. I was hoping they might approve Moderna for teenagers, but it doesn’t look like that’s the case. I want him to be vaccinated so that he can go back to school normally this fall. I truly feel sorry for Tyler and the members of his class, as they were robbed of their senior year of HS, something that can never be replaced. Heck he didn’t even walk at graduation, which was last night, because it had little meaning to him. We’ll be picking up his diploma today. So I hope this fall things are back to normal, and Corey can get on with just being a kid again.

Man I’m in a melancholy mood today.

So I’m working on a second prototype for this project of mine. I did the initial cuts last night, then will do some more cuts this evening - needed some input from Tyler, but didn’t get it until 11 last night, so it was too late to work the chop saw. But I hope to have the second prototype done this weekend. At that point I’ll share some pictures and start a thread on the project. I think once I do folks on here will remember this ancient project which I’ve now jumpstarted. I thi

Morning. 76 and sunny. LOW humidity. Was dragging this AM. Feeling really bad. Dogs begging to go out. Drag my hose to the door and let them out. Sat in the chair on the porch [hose just made it]. Wow, battery recharged. Use to see photos of the TB hospitals in NC. Patients outside in the sun. Sure someone here can tell more about the sun’s healing.

At yesterdays senor group’s gathering I learned of 2 women who got dementia over the last year and badly. One I was sort of friends with and was considering asking her for a date.

Here street takeovers have become popular with kids where a bunch gather at a intersection and they spin donuts with their cars. Very dangerious, your really sort of out of control. A car plowed into a restraunt near me and did a lot of damage.

Do kids do this in your area?

Jumping intersections was a fad here several years ago. Several crashes and a couple of fatalities. Thankfully not any of the innocents.

The big thing here is to get like escalades and other vehicles like that and jack up the front of the car to where it’s about 2-3 feet higher than the rear. I understand N.C. has passed a law limiting the hieght difference to 4"

Mornin’ boys. Sunny and 50 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. We Are headed to the local flower mart today, to beef up the planters. Wifey and I went to the county fair (nearby Ft. Ashby), to take in the RODEO. Bulls won…

Morning folks!

Summertime - nice and toasty out! Only 164 today!

Dennis - nearly every interection in the Dallas area is tagged with donuts. Idiots - what great adults/contributors to society they will make - right?

Banks - glad the beach trip is going well!

DJ - sorry - hope the 'tude improves soon. Have fun with the ‘project’! That should help.

Chief - take it easy - radiation, etc., really takes it out of you. Lung damage from the pnemonia is tough.

Anj - I sure miss the days of summer softball. When I was younger we had a local park where all games were pickup. I was no good but my buddies let me on the field anyway. Beers at the local watering hole afterwards were always good!

Happy Pre Friday -

Great day yesterday after the sun came out - 70s with very low hoomidity -

1 for 3 yesterday - popped a calf muscle after getting out of the batters box. yep I was out for the rest of the game, which we lost 17-24.

Nurse Jenni on the job, on Tylenol and a compression sock and ice. 3 week rehab? We’ll see…

Roy - It’s what I look forward to during the Summer, with car shows and cruises

Rest up and don’t push it, CHIEF!!!

Same weather today -

Off to work -

[I] Rich, perhaps you should pick up Bocce…

Or a nice game of checkers.

My doc keeps telling me - You’re too old for this…

I’m still firefighting, playing softball, working on the house and cars…too old?

Too young for a rocking car…lol

73 and sunny. Breezy. Just came in from sitting on the porch. Got a little sun time. Not do as good as earlier yesterday. Didn’t sleep last night. Sweating and yet chilling.

Up the street to a Duke facility for blood draw. Haircut near there. Month past due.

Radiation before the Pres arrives in town.

Been lying down for first time. Seems OK.

I hear them drag racing nearby on many a summer night past the old Chevy plant.

Our granddaughter Madyson with her horse Jax Heritage. They are good!!! Number 1 Rank and no faults…

Not much else from here.
Chief I hope you got a front row seat today after all you have done for others over this last year. GOD’S speed.

May be an image of riding on a horse, standing, horse and outdoors

KRM - That is so cool! [Y][C):-)]

Fife here is a link but I don’t know if you can see it. I think you have to be logged into FB but even then I don’t know if it will work, try it and let me know. Tks, Kev.

Mornin’ boys and girls. Sunny and 58 this AM, in the Potomac Highlands. Will clean and mow yard in preparation of Oldest Princess and Curly-Top visit this weekend. I will be on the train all day tomorrow, so my evening will probably be spent with the boy in the train room. Grandma already scooped up all of her nicky-nacks from the main room.

KRM - Wasn’t able to view, but I’m sure it was good.

[angel] for Chief, and for those unfortunate folks in FL.

Good morning all,

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Joe

Good morning folks!

Sunny and toasty! [8D]

Anj - that was a slugfest!

Kev - very cool - yes! [C):-)]

Tks, all, for the comments on the Grand-daughter, darn if I can figure out how to post that video???

I got to go to my Brother’s wedding tomorrow, why would anyone get married at 70??? Guess to make his mistress of the last 15+ years feel better about herself??? Or maybe him about himself? Should be interesting. He got divorced after 40 years back in 2016. One would think they would of had it figured out by then?? [:S] Anyway his new squeeze has not been much of a surprise to most. [banghead]

We got a much needed 1.5" of rain last night, I will take it. I saw three Bucks in felt walk past the shed today. Surprised the racks are so big already?? Busy day with the wildlife here, I saw 6 deere and 5 turkeys today. [Y]

And on to the next thing!
