May 24, 2019 Kick Off Your Summer With MTA: The Best Way to the Beach NYCT’s Rockaway Shuttle Will Extend to Meet All Trains on Weekends Starting May 25, Giving Subway Riders Easier Access to the Atlantic Ocean LIRR’s Extended Summer Montauk Branch Service Resumes This Weekend; $1 Summer Saturdays are Back Starting June 1 The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced today that special train services and deals to help people get to area beaches begin this weekend, with a Rockaway shuttle for subway customers and extra Long Island Rail Road service to the South Fork.
