Mystery Machines?

Mystery machines headed out to Texas Terminals to board ship, bound for stops in South America, Africa and the Middle East, then on to China.

Anyone have a clue as to where these guys are headed?

Unit numbers are: EMDX 1000, 1002, 1003, 1006, 1007, 1008 and 1009.

I tried to get under the tarp for a look see, no luck, we had to set them out as they were waiting for them, seems these are a hot move and have to get there tonight, or they will have to hold the ship one more day.

BHP Iron Ore Australian SD70ACe’s, The colors the pilots are and the way they are painted gives it away

Here is a link to some “uncovered” units

BHP SD70Ace

One of the more unique, non heritage, paint schemes that have been applied to this body style. I kind of like it.

Not bad.

…Like your photos Ed…Those engines sure do look big. Good detail on the truck picture.

Those look like some cool units!

Very sharp looking engines! Next time if you have a question about a Mystery Machine just call Scooby!!! [:P]

NOSELIGHTS! EWWWW!!

irk…i can’t stand those. they ruined the otherwise-cool-looking ACEs [V]

[#dots] Wow, really inclusive.

I think they look great. Noselights or not. That paint scheme is really quite nice. I enjoy looking at the SD70ACe. I can’t wait to see one with my own eyes.[tup]

Happy railroading[(-D]

Actually, I tihnk the noselights help make it look a little less boxy. it gives it some curves and makes it nicer to look at.

and my avatar explains why i dont like them really. i cant get those images out of my head whenever i see a unit with noselights

I agree with you. Whats BHP’s website?I tried the .com but got nothing…Danny
