NS 951 F units

NS ran their OCS train from Chicago eastward today with 4 F units and about 10 matched tuscan red passenger cars. A fine looking train in this era.

Ok, they run this train quite often, but today it operated on the ex Pennslvania RR line, now Chicago Fort Wayne, and Eastern to Ft. Wayne, giving a little extra value to those out and about on US 30.

It is between Warsaw and Ft Wayne now (1155am).

Anyone know why this ran on the CF&E today? NS has trackage rights, which they use daily on this line, perhaps this is simply an inspection of the route. Maybe more?

…Yesterday, I happen to see a N S tuscan red passenger car pulled by N S power travelling south on the NewCastle line thru Muncie. Saw it about {roughly}, 11 am.
