NS Roadrailer hits truck near Pittsburgh today

An Eastbound NS Roadrailer symboled a 262 struck the rear of a tractor trailer, as the truck was crossing the tracks at a grade crossing. The truck did not quite clear the crossing, before the rear of the trailer was nailed by the head end of the train. An SD40-2 helper set was dispatched from Conemaugh to assist. Don’t know the extent of damage to the road unit, but it appears that the helpers were to couple ahead to bring the train East . News article attached http://www.wpxi.com/news/5086228/detail.html

…Looks like it all stayed on the rails…

I’m guessing in this situation the tractor trailer driver wasn’t aware that his tail end was sitting on the tracks or, else he knew and didn’t care too much about it.
