Port of Tillamook Bay 3771 details?

As a follow-up to this post: https://forum.trains.com/t/port-of-tillamook-bay-3771s-possible-relationship-to-grand-trunk-western-5629/419396/12

I have started working on a Google Doc titled “POTB 3771: Scrapping Tragedy Explained”.

If you have anything to provide to me to insert into the document for the 3771, feel free to email me here: lbscre30@gmail.com

One question I have is, when was it delivered to SP (full date)? and what was its retirement date (full date)? along with when it was first purchased by POTB (full date)? And when in 2010 was it scrapped?

EDIT: Found the month that the unit was given to the POTB, it was September 1993 that the POTB got their hands on the unit. Also it was rebuilt by SP in December 1974, but I’m not sure the exact day it emerged out as a GP9E (e.g: SP 3190 was rebuilt on August 22, 1977, SP 5623/3189 was rebuilt on April 15, 1977, for explanation on what I’m saying here.)

You don’t seem to have done even the most elementary research into 3771. It was not originally an ‘SP’ engine at all (T&NO 446), then SP 3568 after the formal merger of T&NO into SP in 1965. The rebuild to GP9E was done in 1974, and only then did the unit get #3771. It was sold to the Tillamook Bay people in 1993.

I get that, but I don’t seem to know the full details of the locomotive’s history, because I am very limited when it comes to researching, and also I’m trying to not use A.I. because it gives out misinformation.

Look at SP/BUGX 3190, someone somehow managed to give out the full details on that locomotive’s retirement, link here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/136640606405094/posts/10004135636322159/?comment_id=10004734476262275&reply_comment_id=10006072172795172
