Good Mornin’ Ya’ll From Sunny Taxachusetts,
Time to wash the deck furniture and do a quick grill cleanup for today’s bash here. Grocery store then to pick up a few items.
**RT…**a good friend of ours has a early 2000s Ford Explorer, about the same age and mileage as yours, same thing. Holes in the chromed rear bumper from rust. Her brother picked up another bumper at a bone yard and swapped them out. Now hers is looking top notch. Sure, it takes a few $ to keep up a vehicle with a few miles on it. But the savings are big, even if a major repair pops up. I get “attached” to my vehicles like you and many of us do. [tup] BTW… I think JimmyT is running an automotive orphanage for homeless ProbeGTs. [:-^]
**Fife…**I am 100% with you about the home invasions and the gun law. The media isn’t interested in the 99% of those who had to protect themselves. They only dial in on the 1% anfd then beat it to death. Nothing in life is perfect. I’d argue it is 99% better as things are.
Re the media, the memorial trust fund set up for the Greenland NH police chief Michael Maloney…it’s one mention and done. Re the perps involved?. The guy had a long record (weapons and drugs, awaiting trials) and his girlfriend was made out like Mother Theresa…until the media was informed she was named on the drug warrants for selling OXYs to undercover police officers, Then she was positively identified as the one who bought the gun(s) for the guy who used the same on the 5 officers. His other weapons had been previously confiscated on a previous weapons charge.
