Good Mornin’ Ya’ll From Sunny Taxachusetts,

Time to wash the deck furniture and do a quick grill cleanup for today’s bash here. Grocery store then to pick up a few items.

**RT…**a good friend of ours has a early 2000s Ford Explorer, about the same age and mileage as yours, same thing. Holes in the chromed rear bumper from rust. Her brother picked up another bumper at a bone yard and swapped them out. Now hers is looking top notch. Sure, it takes a few $ to keep up a vehicle with a few miles on it. But the savings are big, even if a major repair pops up. I get “attached” to my vehicles like you and many of us do. [tup] BTW… I think JimmyT is running an automotive orphanage for homeless ProbeGTs. [:-^]

**Fife…**I am 100% with you about the home invasions and the gun law. The media isn’t interested in the 99% of those who had to protect themselves. They only dial in on the 1% anfd then beat it to death. Nothing in life is perfect. I’d argue it is 99% better as things are.

Re the media, the memorial trust fund set up for the Greenland NH police chief Michael Maloney…it’s one mention and done. Re the perps involved?. The guy had a long record (weapons and drugs, awaiting trials) and his girlfriend was made out like Mother Theresa…until the media was informed she was named on the drug warrants for selling OXYs to undercover police officers, Then she was positively identified as the one who bought the gun(s) for the guy who used the same on the 5 officers. His other weapons had been previously confiscated on a previous weapons charge.

Scrap iron!

Hi guys,

Going to be a hot one today on the north bluff. They are talking about high 90s.

Got the property tax bill yesterday and sure it went up AGAIN!! [8o|][banghead]

The wedding went well yesterday and we picked up our new wills so it was a good trip to Plainfield. [Y] Man I don’t miss that traffic.

When we got home just before dark the garage door would not open up. [:^)] Yep, no power and it had been out already for about 1.5 hours. So I got the first chance to try out my manual transfer switch with the generator. Worked nice had the fridge running and the living room lights, TV, Water heater and if I shut down the fridge I could run the well pump. All toll it was out about 4 hours. [:)]

Today I thing I am going to stay in the AC and watch the races.

MikeC, I am pulling for AJs team today.

Roy, sounds like too much fun that yard work. [swg]

RIJack, I talked to a guy yesterday when I was in Plainfield about the rust. It is in about the worst place it can be. The bottoms of the doors and front tips of the front fenders. Will need two left doors and new front fenders. We talked about some other approaches to tide the storm that I may try. [:S]

RT, hope you get over the back thingy. [angel]

DougM, great picture of the kids. Keep a close eye on them at the party. [:-,]

Blownout Cyl. Prayers for you. You are a brave man. [angel]

Brutus, Too much rich food??? Don’t sound like fun. [:O]

Fife, I with you man. Why don’t you hear the good stories of The Armed Citizen. [#dots]

Well I found out how to get the wife out of bed………tell her the coons knocked over one of her planters. Now I have a mad Bear in the house.

Aloha [ip]. Might hit high 90s today. Wowsa. Bride has me running around to set-up for the middle boy’s graduation party. Glad I got the Slip’nSlide. [Y]

Good morning. It’s 73° and cloudy. The high will be 95° and it’ll be mostly sunny.

Nothing special planned for today. I cleaned up the layout a bit yesterday but it still needs more.

It’s 70 heading for 90. I have the doors and windows open, love the fresh air. Had a good chat with Brutus last night. We talked about toy trains and BCRs. Our holiday will be spent at or near home, but we will eat good. Ribs and tater salad for sure. Enjoy yours too…S.J.

SJ I saw that post last night after posting in here I even posted to it myself.

Fife the answer is because as a whole the edditors or there boss’s feel it makes better news of the tragity with a gun than the good the gun did and maybe somewhere in there organization a head honcho is anti gun.

Morning all went out raked up the magnolia leaves again ( try to get them when there isn’t a lot of them) water flowers and trees to make wife happy.

Had fit with neighbor fed up with her and her dogs running loose while she sits on her big behind talking on cell phone instead of just closing her gate or tyeing them up. folks walk down the road here with rocks or sticks in there hand because of them. she was doing good for about a month now she’s back to her old ways. End of rant [soapbox]

Ran train for a while last night had a temp problem as one some how jumped track slightly but fixed that and allow as fine again. That was at start up. funny it affected only one engine the second engine first wanted to do its thing 3rd and 4th B-units which have tmcc to some point in them did fine just engine # 2 lol. Oh well at least it was a good warning before anything more troublesome came of it.

Well went back to ER yesterday the doc I saw this time agreed its not what the first thought as he seemed to understand what I was saying. still if I get sweaty my rt side lower back starts to burn. and its still sensitive to the touch may have to follow up with my primary care Dr. and see if maybe I need to goto dermatology ( wow I spelled that right according to spell check lol)

Well guess thats all my now will talk to you all later

**RT…**I’m betting on fleas and ticks from the neighbor’s dogs…[swg] I use the mower with the bag attachment to keep up on those leaves…don’t like raking.

**DougM…**me too. I have to hop to it and get the lawn furniture out now, then hit the grocery store.

**KEV…**I usually get rust starting as paint bubbles around the rear fender wells. [banghead]

72 is the high today, partly cloudy, rain tonight. Later gang. INDY 500 HERE WE COME!!!

Jack, el supremo slavo. [(-D]

Jack if it was one of those my cats would be digging like no tomorrow and it wouldn’t be just my lower right back. It would be all over and heat irritates it even more and sweating to where it starts to burn. My wife keeps saying I got sunburned thru a black Tshirt i was wearing I comeback with why just my right side and we weren’t out side much that day basically from car to building to car again.

Well I’m tired trying to get the guy to make me white decals ( water slide style) we talk a couple of times then all ended don’t know what happened. So I’m thinking about getting some rubber stamps for what I need. it will mean ( depends how I go about it one way I think is to wide spacing between numbers ( thats the ones which you can rotate to the number you want.) the other would be a regular rubber stamp. problem thou is finding white ink for the ink pad. (want to renumber my 2 PA-1’s and my PB-1’s to actual numbers that NYC used. still need to get some stuff to remove current numbers. Every-time I goto Lowe’s or Wal-mart I forget just like I need to get some gorilla glue to glue some white metal and hopes it holds.

Hi GUYZ,

Hit 90 here yesterday then had T storms around us that cooled down the nite temps. Slept good with da winders open. Got up took my MINNIE for a nice mile walk. Then read paper then took WIFE and MINNIE for a 2.5 miler then played fetch da stick with MINNIE dog in the creek. She chased stick about 20 times, great swimmer in the current. Now shes a tired doggie.

RT hope you don’t have shingles? Real painful stuff.

BLOWNOUT, prayers for you on the rehab.

DOUG M, GREAT PIC!!! BIG CONGA!!!

ROCKISLAND, BIGGEST BUM you want to see. I’m ok with dat.

FIFE, sounded like a great afternoon,ENJOY.

Stay frosty,

laz57

Looks like another hot one today - heading to the pool shortly with the kids.

We’ve been watching the predecessors to the Avengers movie - Thor Friday night, Hulk last night, Captain America last weekend, Iron Man and Iron Man2 tonight and tomorrow.

No Laz that has been eliminated as no sores but it is becoming a mystery lol.

Who knows what it is thou.

Just had a good lunch simple really but good took 2 slices Mama Cozzi - Texas Toast Garlic Bread, 1 slice of bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, hamburger, and mayo with potato wedges on the side.

Hope all having a good memorial day week-end

RT sounds like shingles to me too. We have a neighbor who has a dog that is the same way. He will most likely end up in the ravine. [:-^]

Well MikeC. So much for AJ, and team. Plan B Team Target.

RiJack, It could be hiding there too under the factory ABS fender skirts. [banghead]

Read my previous post been eliminated by doctors that its not that no sores said by 4th day they would of start showing up.

I did read it RT. What makes you think the doctors know what it is?? Glad it is not shingles. They suck.

Doctors are the same group that told me I had bone cancer in 2008 put me through 6 month of He double L when it was only internal Hemangiomas I have had since birth. [(-D] A lot like the weathermen. [*-)] If you have medical ins they will just keep looking. If not well better luck guessing yourself.

Good Afternoon…

Not much happening today…got to run some trains when we got home and now am preparing for dinner…we be having BBQ…under the clouds and rain…good thing we have awning here…

Good afternoon everyone. Was a great service this morning. I even got to sit with my family…how novel! We then went to get some paint as I will be painting the kids’ rooms for when we come back from China! Still no word, but should not be much longer.

Fife, in a word Agenda, they have one and will not let facts get in the way.

Doug, great photo, you have a wonderful family!

Kevin, there are corrupt doctors like there are corrupt people in all jobs. We had a guy I work with who’s mother endured months of cancer treatments only to find out that she never had it. This happened in another state, but she came here when things didn’t sound right. Our group ran the tests that proved she was fine. When they tried to get ahold of her reports from the guy who diagnosed and treated, the report seemed to disappear. My advice is to get a second opinion from a unrelated specialist that is not of the same group. If the report and treatment presented are similar, go with whom seems right. If they are different, find out why.

Well, I have had several bad reports from friends up north this week. One had an MI, the other is dying of cancer and seems they are getting close. As what was mentioned in church this morning, if it drives you to prayer with the Father, it is a blessing.

God bless, and have a good week ahead,

Dennis

And that is why they call it the greatest spectacle in racing. WOW great race today. Now NASCAR [Y]

Dennis, I know you are correct about corruption in all trades including Doctors. In my case after 6 months of runaround I decided to spend my own dime to heck with the network providers and go to Mayo. I took all of my records from home but they did most of the test all over again and it was the Best thing I ever did. Four days there and I went home a new man with a new understanding of the medical system. The difference is night and day.

I will pray for your friends in need. I know it does work.

Nice kitty BOC.

Afternoon all!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Pretty warm here - 93. Not as bad as yesterday.

Great Indy 500. Bet Sato wished he had been a little more careful. Too bad it had to finish under a caution.

Early church and then 11 am as this weekend is Senior Sunday. Son read scripture at the early service, usered the 11 am, and then a family lunch at 12 for seniors and their families. Nice morning.

Watching NASCAR preshow - and the wife is Soooo Pleased we have an entire day and evening of racing today. HEY! Desparate Housewives is done for the season!

[angel] for those in need.

Steaks on the grill tonight!

[bow] to the vets!

Have a great evening!

[:O] Just think what kind of trouble I could get into with more $$ and space.[:-^]

Kev,

How bad is the rust? If the metal is still solid, POR15 is an option to stop the rust from advancing. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve read nothing but good things. Of course, if you can get rust free panels, that would be best. A friend of mine has an 01 Dakota Sport in silver, and his is rusting at the wheel wells and bumper.

I am going through the same thing with the 91 Probe, but there are zero 89-92 Probes in the yards around here. I mostly see a lot of Sunfires, Cavaliers, and 1999+ Grand Ams in the yards here. Hoping to find my old Sunfire in a yard some day. Have some "unfinished busines
