RE:Coffee Pot #5 May 2012 6 years [April 1 is Anniv.] and going strong and its for all to chat. Plenty of coffee and sweet ice tea for all. Come and join us and chat. GRITS for the Yankees.

Jim got and replied to your email.

The rust is a hole in my bumper about the size of a quarter. but (knock on wood) the truck runs great.

Evening all watching a few auctions I’m high bidder on. one is a Type R transformer. figure I could use that to run switches, lights for drawf signals ect. maybe even lights in some buildings. I plan to have 1 maybe 2 drawf signals at each switch so it will operate in-case the engine is coming the other way and no mater where you stand you can see it switch from red to green or green to red. they will be powered off the switch. should be great when I get them done. all plans for the to be layout.

still out side will be like O-72 I think. So I can run just about anything I wish to. won’t have to worry about having a track to handle it. the next will be O-63 don’t think I will have another as plan for a good size yard and 2 bay engine house. so that will take up a good part of the center of the table.

Not much else going on tonight. Just relaxing hoping my back will start to heal enough to work Tuesday. Still tender in the main spot. but seems to be getting better.

Hope to have a enjoyable day off tomorrow.

BOC Hers is my trouble maker. [:-^]

It’s 74 now but was quite warm all day. We spent the afternoon with our son-in-laws family, lots of food and socializing. Tomorrow is open right now, but we have plenty to eat right here. Ribs & tater salad to start with. Banilla and A & W are waiting for the thingy crew…S.J.

Time for me to call it a night. See y’all tomorrow.

Good Evening!

Trip to Pocono was great…left at 0500 and got back 0030 next morning. Reconnected with many of my Mopar brethren…I went in during the business meeting. Much applause and greetings…a great time. I stayed for the traditional Saturday dinner. Got my fill and breaking bread with friends is always a great time. I road with a friend who just completed his '70 Challenger RT/SE Hemi…with 750 horse on tap. Exciting ride to be sure…as I’m STILL smiling!

250 miles on the Harley, total. Trip home was not good, drizzle and fog were horrible. Thank the Lord he chose to keep the deer in the forest and not on the road…

I haven’t kept up on the pot lately, running around and working has kept me busy. We’ve been running a lot of rescues lately due to the holiday. Flipped vehicles and such make life…interesting…

[angel] for our friends in need and ailing.

Thank you to our service men and women, active or retired. Your actions keep us free and able to do what we want and when we want.

2 parades tomorrow, one in town and the other in Cranbury, NJ, next town north of us. A tradition, to be sure.

0800 is early so I’m off to bed. Good night guys!

Man am I beat, lol! Son and I worked on the basement again today from lunch until about 5PM. We finished the drywall at the base of the stairs and all except for about an 18 inch by 1 inch strip I need to put in to cover a board where the ceiling transitions to a slope. We also did an enclosure around a pipe, where I built a drop down section - man, I don’t know the proper term for this, but basically a free standing box hanging down to enclose a pipe, lol! Except for the bathroom (still need to get a shower before I finish the last drywall in there), I just have to put up the corner beads and do some screws on a few pieces here and there, then it’s tape and mud time baby! On track to be all done for the FALL, when I plan to start my layout.

Prayers for BoC and all in need.

Congrats again, Doug - it’s a real accomplishment I know.

TARDIS is ready, but I’m too tired to drive. Let’s go, Mike - I’ll be in the lounge with a cold one and some nice chatter with Kev, SJ, Charlie and of course RT - we’re still chatting [tup]

Happy Memorial Day!

We had a very nice and relaxing Sunday yesterday. I was able to watch the UFC fights I had recorded earlier in the day; the fights were very entertaining. I still haven’t received my notification that my digital copy of the latest CTT is ready. I thought it would have been ready the same time as the print copies are being mailed out. I hope it will be ready prior to the 2 Jun newsstand date. We are enjoying the holiday today with relaxation and food. I’ve been smoking a pork butt (shoulder) since 11:00 am and it should be ready in about three more hours. We will make sure to observe our moment of silence at 3:00 pm our time to remember our fallen. I hope all you have a great day.

BOC – I’ll be praying for you this week.

Never forget,

Good Memorial Day morning

It is going to be sunny and hot today…93Ffeeling more like 106F today…showers in the forecast for tonight…

Good Morning from Blueberryhill RR…

Happy Memorial Day

Remember our Veterans

It is a sunny 74 degrees. Going up to 90 again, with sunshine.

Today is an easy day. I plan to relax and run trains, later. I want to read the latest issue of CTT, which came in the mail, yesterday. And, of course, a nap, later.

Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.

Y’all have a great Memorial Day.

Chuck

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!

I’ll be grillin’, then chillin’…

RT,

You could probably get stamps made, but I am not sure who would do it. A place like Staples might be worth a try.

Finally have a day off. Listed the Flyer 314AW on ebay last night, and it sold in about 12.5 minutes.[:O] Need to get it packed. I’ll probably regret it since it was very clean, but I haven’t played with it since buying it in Nov. 2010.

What fife said. It pretty much covers it…S.J.

We had 22 here yesterday, are reloading, and will be hosting just 10 today. I think I will need to “educate” some of the younger in our crowd who never had to serve in the military, and for whom Memorial day is just a day off work, BBQ day, and the launch of Summer.

Jack

Good morning. It’s 80° and mostly. The high will be 92° and partly cloudy.

Hopefully today I can get the layout cleaned up. Intended to do it yesterday but found that I had to be in several places at the same time. I’m also planning on putting a small bulb in a GP9 if I can find a suitable one.

Morning all!

Should hit 93 today. Sunny. Broke in the pool yesterday evening.

Celebrate the day today - 3 pm remembrance.

anjdevil - '70 Hemi Challenger - sweet! I rented (free upgrade from econobox) a '12 Hemi Challenger a few weeks back - equally sweet!

Have great day all! [8D]

Fife I am with you.

Happy Memorial Day guys

Least we not forget those who have allowed us are freedom.

Got hit by the Mailbox Bashers again last night. [:-,] Great to live in rural America. [;)]

Oh well I have re-bent this one about 6 times so once more won’t hurt. I even did a re-paint on it today. [Y]

JimProbe I have been looking at that too.

Have a good day all.

Kev,

I am going to need a good bit.[(-D] Inside the bottom edges of both doors is bad.

Starting to regret selling the 314AW already, and I am on the hunt for an equally clean 312/312AC. I don’t care about $$., Will pay whatever it takes.

Sunney 88

The bad thing about being retired is you don’t get paid for holidays anymore. The good thing is everyday is a holiday. For many people this is the 1st holiday since New Years 5 months ago.

About noon I’m heading to Pasedena to a friends who opens up his house to a church group I go to for a BBQ. I’ve been several times, its always great.

I heard a program on talk radio where it makes you feel good to post especally if you thihk its not a dumb post. They were talking about Facebook but its the same here. Why else would we spend time composing and typing without much expectation of achnowlegment.

**Dennis…**I think I need to get some new friends and family that host these events instead of me. [banghead] I am still picking up from yesterday, with a smaller gathering here for today. I’m tired and it is only 1PM!!!
