Ribbonrail

Has anyone used this product and if so how do you like it. Having a hard time finding them

Thanks

Yep. I found mine at Blue Ridge Hobbies in MD

They are cut ?particle board? sections that are about the thickness of roadbed with beveled edges. Each curve is roughly 22.5 degrees (if I remember correctly) There’s several of the same curve in a package so you can make 1/2 a circle I think. But don’t quote me on that. I have yet to open my package.

Thanks for the reply

The one’s I’ve seen look like their made of metal?

nope. Definitely not metal. And I made a mistake. They look like fiberboard, not particle board! I can take a picture if you want and post it this afternoon.

I think perkspub may be thinking of the Ribbonrail track gauges. They are indeed metal (aluminum, I think) and very handy for eliminating kinks when laying track, especially sectional and handlaid. Walthers lists them, but most of the products are on backorder, with no expected date. Their roadbed is made of Upson board, which is (I believe) similar to pressed cardboard. They also make a track cleaning car, which is also on indefinite backorder.

That would explain a few things. I didn’t know they made both.

gmcrail is talking about the same thing I’m looking for. I you want to send a picture of your idea send it on

Thanks
