Little Green Men?

“Angry Birds Commando” which posted a statement on the left-wing platform Indymedia reading: “Many things would work infinitely better without the industrial system.”

Sounds more like anarchists.

You don’t expect the Russians to come out and admit it, do you? It’s interesting that before this incident, “Angry Birds Commando” was unknown. Russia even has a name for it–“maskirovka”.

Thank you for that info. I’m still pretty current on the left in Germany from friends but not Russian rightist operatives, although I know there are many there and they finance a lot of activities including the neo-fascist AfD.

Vandalism..? Sounds like terrorism to me. But you’ll never hear that out of the now-sheeple Germans. I lived there for many years. How times have changed…

The group may not be known to the general public, but it is known to the German security authorities:

The group “Kommando Angry Birds”, which has claimed responsibility, is “known to our authorities as a left-wing extremist join-in campaign”, said Interior Minister Reul. The group had “already sabotaged the Düsseldorf area several times in recent years”. The attack shows “how vulnerable our critical infrastructure is”.

From the same source:

A letter of confession was published on the left-wing platform “Indymedia”. In it, the “Angry Birds Commando” claimed responsibility for the crime. The authenticity of the letter is still being investigated, a police spokesman said. According to the police, the two incendiary devices on the central railroad line had the same design.

Did they burn the Mt. Rainer Scenic bridge earlier this year?

The Kommando Angry Birds poses as more of radical anarchist environmental group than a typical leftist group. And there may well be a Russian connection.

And here I was, wondering if it was a bunch of die-hard Maquis still holding a grudge.

Just so everyone knows I wouldn’t be making a joke about it if someone was hurt or killed.

MeTV broadcast Season 5 Episode 23 of The Walton’s about one of the members of the ‘extended’ family had move abroad and married a man who became an Austrian Diplomat before the Hitler age. When Hitler annexes Austria Diplomat is give diminishing jobs. The couple’s son followed the crowd and became a member of the Hitler Youth - supposedly the HY were given the ‘job’ of Bullying specific Jews in the place - the son tried to help the Jews and was beaten to death by the HY.

Bad times in the WORLD.

Inappropriate post.

Bad deeds are bad - no matter when or why they happened.

What does that mean?

I confess I immediately thought of 25:11 and later:

It’s a pejorative, typically used by followers of Hannity, et al.

In this case the usage seems to be from someone ignorant of history and culture.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word, “sheeple” was first used in 1945 and referred to people mindlessly obeying their government.

As I said, a pejorative. And I don’t quite see the accuracy of the application that the one-off poster Powell made.

The term pre-dates Hannity’s career. I remember it from the 1980’s. How do you get that he is ignorant of history and culture based on one post? He said he lived over there.
