Since every other industry / medium has it its awards…the Oscars, the Tonys, the Obies, etc…I figured we’d need one too… The Chessie would be a cat, dipped in some hot metal and a statue made out of it…or maybe the Mookie Award…

All right guys: when did the chessie awards start?

Even though I was not nominated for one, I have had one for 16 1/2 years.

Her name is Virginia Chessie, and she came from Newport News, VA. Self explanatory,
middle name.

SHE’S NOT BEEN DIPPED IN NUTTIN’ (unless one of you unscrupulous people have been to my house taking pictures of my cat (and not my wife, cherokee woman).
