The Newark, Hoboken & Jersey City Railroad

Hello everyone. I’m new to the Forum. It looks like a great place to get some good model railroading information. With that said, I am in the process of constructing my railroad. I’m in O scale and of course my space is limited (wish I had a basement). I saw some information on a Model Railroad by the name of The Newark, Hoboken & Jersey City. This railroad is 3 rail O scale and was in the CTT layout contest. I don’t know the year it was in CTT, but if possible, I would like to get some additional information on this layout. The layout area is very close to the area I have available in my attic with a few alterations. I appreciate any information that is available. Thank you.

Bob, welcome to the forum. I don’t have your answer, but if you send a message to Bob Keller “overlord”, he is the main guy about these parts and usually answers pretty quick. He is with CTT and is great to deal with.

Thanks for the heads up. How would I get a message to Bob Keller?

This is a design of the railroad layout…

maybe it’ll help a bit until you get more info

At the top of the “Toy train and collecting” page, there is a thread on “BTB 26…”. The author of this is Bob Keller. Just click on his name and you can send him a message.

How much space do you have to work with? Sure, we all like big layouts, but I personally love to see when someone creates a nice pike in a small space.
