WHOOPS, SORRY, I MEANT THIS FOR THE OCTOBER ISSUE AS I HAVE YET TO SEE THE NOVEMBER ISSUE BUT LOOK FORWARD TO IT. I DID JUST RECEIVE MY LONG AWAITED COPY OF “LOCOMOTIVE” AND AM IN THE MIDDLE OF READING IT AND AM ENJOYING IT SO FAR.
…Now I wonder what’s in it…???

…Yes…it looks great…! Just received my copy today and skimmed through it quickly and the CSX article and the concrete bridge piece appear to be really great…Must get to it and do some reading. These kinds of articles, including photos make any issue really great…

Good job, folks. I liked the centerfold, too, of the METRA passenger locomotive. There was a nice TRAINS sub card thoughtfully placed directly over the radiator vents (it IS a family publication after all) which my wife appreciated. I’ll have to wait till she goes to bed before I remove that dang card and appreciate the locomotive in it’s full glory.
I also got the LOCOMOTIVE collector’s issue, which does not have cards covering key aspects of the centerfolds.
Oh, and I read the articles, too.
