Right [alien] sure.
Well you don’t have to be a native of Earth to be a railfan. But they must quit tresspassing and tampering with the signals/engines. That will ruin it for the rest of the galaxy.[;)]
Well of course the UFO made the train stop, they needed to refuel. Dont you know how much coal those flying saucers burn in a day?

[alien][alien] Take us to your railfan hot spot.
UFO’s are notorious for flying near power lines to “charge up”. Mabee they figure it’s less dangerous to get the juice from the track circuit.[;)]
This time, they tried to abduct an American Frieght!
BE HONORD! THEY CHOSE US AND NOT ANYONE ELSE!
UFO stories are pretty much same anywhere in the world, it’s just that in US they get more publicity.
I’m intrigued as to why they see the loco starting again as being unusual - I’ve known cars that wouldn’t start one day then fired up perfectly the next (usually a damp distributor). Judging by the account, the temperature was dropping throughout the sighting, which could easily have caused the problem to disappear. No UFOs are required to make combustion engines behave strangely!
Anyone else find it interesting that the number of UFO sightings has apparently gone down since the end of the Cold War? Just thinking about the unusual aircraft we now know about - if you saw an SR-71A for the first time, at night, wouldn’t most people take it for an alien craft? That’s one of the types we know about, there’s still plenty that has yet to be declassified…
It must be true…it was in the Enquirer…
So the engineer wakes up in a strange motel room , hung over and suffering pain from a brutal rectal probing, , and he’s gonna cop out and blame it on space aliens? So typical… [:o)]
Maybe they were curious about trains ,since maybe they dont have such crude modes of tranportation and wanted to see what it was…2 to beam up Scotty !
Mabee they thought the tracks were a landing strip.[;)]
Actually havent you noticed that recorded sightings of UFO’s (and Ghost, Bigfoot, Nessie, Ware-Rabbits and Chupacabra’s) have gone way down since the 70’s although the number of camera’s in every conceavable location (traffic cams, weathercam, phone cams, personal web-cams and the pletheroa of small pocket digital cam’s) has skyrocketed in the last decade?
Ordinary regular people have managed to capture almost every major news event like plane crashes ON film or digital cameras, yet UFO’s have gone the way of the Dodo and become extremley scarce. Kinda makes you wonder why they always seam to land next to the trailers where candidates for the Jerry Springer Show seam to live…“I swear I saw it, and Elvis was flying it! I saw it after I fell off my porch drinking my bottle of Thundebird”[:p]
I never get to see a UFO while I’m railfanning[:(][alien].
When the crew turned in this report, did the trainmaster require them to “fill this bottle”?
Interesting Trains and UFo’s cool stuff interesting story.
If it never left the track, wouldn’t that make it a URO? Unidentified Rail Object? I think there’s room to start a whole new conspiracy genre here.

Why do UFOs cross the vast distances of space just to meet some drunken fishermen in rural Mississippi?
Jack
It must be that no one else has invented trains, and they’ve intercepted our railfan transmissions…
