Was wondering, is anyone experiencing this with the CTT site?????

I keep getting times I click on a topic or go to post a topic and the little green bars [green dashes on desktop] start and then stop. Just sits. If I click again, it loads immediately. Have notified CTT IMS. They can not isolate. If anyone else is having this problem, please post.

Yes, I have experienced that too.

I typically use Firefox.

Yep, it just did it to me again, trying to post this. Got an error page and had to do it all over again.

Thanks guys. Did it to me again on another thread. Acutally froze up.

I thought it was just me… I sit and scream at the screen, click the links 8 times, and eventually it starts behaving…

I don’t get such messages with IE 7. I have an issue in that I do not see my posts when using Safari v.1.2 - so I’ll post something and it won’t appear as the latest posting under a header. Next time I go into the forum, it is there. I’m sure it is a Safari issue

Chief, when I make a post from my computer at work it does the same thing. My computer here at home does OK.

Stan.

No, it is not just yours. I have Windows XP with Internet Explorer and I have to click out and back into the Internet to see my post as the last post.

well i am using xp and interenet explorer and am not having any diffuculties…must be a east coast thing…j/k wonder whats up?

Often have the same problem. Sometimes, I will attempt to post, it seems to take forever, when I click on “Post” again, it will come up with the control message about posting too frequently, and time needed between posts. Gets frustrating.

I have been experiencing no problems at all, lately !! I’m still in the dark ages though with Windows ME. Last night stuff was taking a while to load though.

Thanks, John

OH , NO !!!

Maybe I’m tied in with the Southern System.

Yep !! That’s exactly what is happening & they clogged up your lines with grits !! [(-D][(-D]

Thanks, John

Well, it is flying right now after a very slow evening. Not the Road Runner service as OGR and The Gauge [which use to be real slow] are flying. I’m on XP on older desktop and Vista on laptop. So, its the CTT system. With all this info, maybe they can find the problem. Time and how much it happens will help.

No problems here in G’burg except that I cannot get the editing bars to show up in the message window unless I use Firefox (Safari and IE never have worked with the new software). I am running a Mac with OS version 10.4.

I sometimes find the need to click a second time on a link to get it to open, but I think that’s either because I don’t click hard enough the first time or because the cursor is moving when I click. It happens on a lot of sites, not just this one with me.

Jim

Nope,no problems.

Probably those little green men[alien][alien][alien][alien][alien][alien][alien][alien]!

They go to NC to pick up their prey.

I thought it was an aol problem, or my computer. I’ve had the computer lock up to the point that ctrl-alt-delete wouldn’t work and I had to kill the power and restart. Also sometimes when I go to reply and hit the reply arrow I get kicked back to the forum topic screen.

I thought that I needed a new hard-drive for the computer but went to another website and it worked fine. My complaint is the Sunday Photo Fun download time as it can take up to five minutes to download the entire page, some of it comes through but I have to wait a few minutes for all items to show up.

I checked with the local computer store and the guy said I have more than enough R.A.M.

Yep, that exactly how I was able to read your post. Sometimes in the middle of a postor reply the screen re-sets itself to a blank reply page or back to the original post.
