There is a lot of good work shown hear, as usual.
talon 104 - Very nice river scene. Wish I had room for one.
Perry - I love your scenery. Good photos too.
Garry - I like your overpass scene. Reminds me of the BRVRR.
Just one photo to post this week:
I have been weathering this model of NYC RDC #53. I just changed it to NYC livery but it was too clean. My first attempt at weathering it (posted last week) was not satisfactory. Its a little better now.
This is just one of many new photos posted on my website. There is an update to my grandsons small DC layout posted there too. Link is in my signature.[tup]
Keep up the good work guys. You are always inspiring![:D]
Didn’t do ANY modeling this week because of preparations to go on vacation to Savannah. Of course, I just HAD to look in HERE…
and then we went across the street to the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace (Founder of the Girl Scouts). Pic’s weren’t allowed inside. We took a walk down River Street, rode the ferry back up. Saw a HUGE Hapag Lloyd container ship go up the river, didn’t have the camera on the boat. We ate [dinner] at The Lady & Sons for late lunch (you know, Paula Deen’s place, surely you’ve seen her on Food Network). Then, we went to the old C of G Roundhouse RR Museum, where they were having a gardening show, but that didn’t stop us (me) from railfanning…
We went out to Tybee Island, and turned the young’un’s loose on the beach. Sorry, those pic’s are for family only. No trains there. I really wanted to take more pics at the roundhouse[|(], but it was already late in the day, and the kids were getting to be a handfull. We left this morning, having done pretty much everything we wanted to
