Weekend Photo Fun Nov 11th & 12th

I’ll start the fun this weekend.

Last weekend I was in destruction mode. The original plan for an upper deck was just not going to work. Late this Thursday, we got the legs built for the new modules. Now starting in “constuction” mode again and boy it feels good [:D]. Updated layout plan in my sig.

Regards,

Lookin good Tom

Can’t wait to see some track and scenery to replace all those red letter words.

I made some more trees this week

This one got struck by lightning not sure it will live

Great pics. I especially like the trre with the broken limb. These are my contribution to the WPF. the first is a long mixed freight train (31 cars) going arounf the reverse loop, as you can see there isn’t a lot of space (1/4’') between the loco and the caboose.

Gotta love them P2K Geeps. Have a good weekend Mike

Great pics guys. Mike I love the airplane on your backdrop. Gives me an idea. good job Dave

Looking Good Guys!,Heres alittle more progress with the new lake, im waiting on some tunnel portals to come in the mail then ,i think ill start to paint and add rocks trees ect

Have a Great WeekEnd

My Dash 9 pulling intermodal train. Past the future site of the Warehouse and town.

1st as an USN Veteran I wish a happy Veterans Day to my fellow VETS from all the sevices.

I’m working on the Triangle Cafe. I still have a way to go on the inside.

Ok, can you guess what Walther’s kit I’m working on…

in between going out to find trains to photograph?

JaRRell

Started putting up backdrop, grid supports and first section in. This is the Bruce Petty idea for using extended shelf brackets and 1x2 poplar lumber for the support. It’s a start…

I made a quick stab at my N scale MRR in a coffee table, and finished up what’s going to be the scenic highlight, a ‘tall’ steel trestle.

now I just need to get some track down!

The BAH R.R. takes possession of four new ore cars.

I am in Canada, so it is Remembrance Day here. I have been working on the backdrop. I put a couple of buildings in front and some background buildings in the back just for effect. Great work everybody.

Scott

Nice work everyone. Still in tracl planning phase here. But I did get one of my usra 55 ton hoppers built this week. This was my first rolling stock from a kit, so it was a new experience from me. I dont care for the accumate couplers on it though. I will replace them with kaydees when I get the rest of my stock done, but thats down the line.[:)]

My Mantua 0-4-0 is finally out of the paint shop

Still needs decals, couplers, and some other minor tweaks - but I think it’s pretty good for my first try [:)]

It looks a lot lighter (color-wise) in the picture than it really is, but the flash lightened it up considerably… not that it looks bad by any means…

and my most recent ebay loot:

in B&W just for fun:

oh yeah, got a trainset off ebay too - just don’t have any pics of it (although its just some cars, track and a diesel… bleh)

That’s a neat photo. I like how you made only the train and the tracks in color.

Nice looking work posted so far. I have been on about a 6 month break form working on my layout, but now I’m back on track (ha ha pun intended). I have put a couple of signals protecting the main and the siding near my tunnel. I still need to get one for trains going in the opposite direction.

Only one of the signals works at the moment. I still need to build the switching circuit for the other one. I also need to do some ballast work around the bottom of the signal masts, but that is for another day.

Hiway 70 is clear and open over the Sierras, screan and first coat of plaster on, pond is in and level, heavy equipment is working the logging road, a D5 is dozing an accress road for CDF fire crews, and Whoooooooah,…apears every one is on another %###!(*&^>< coffee break…Oh well …if ya cant beat em…join um…John
