Oh yeah, a thick Porterhouse[:P]. Heaven on a plate! Dave
If I see food and I like it, I’LL EAT IT!! There just isn’t too much that I don’t like to eat. Ain’t that great!!
Archie
Quaker steak and lube their wings are killer but i like any kind of food except liver and onions
Why not? If this forum stayed 1000% MR, it wouldn’t be as cool as it is now. You need a little straying every now and then. It helps us relate better as people. [:)]
Threads like this get lots of responses, so obviously everybody doesn’t feel the same way you do.
I am primarily a carnivore. I’ve never met a steak I didn’t like. The redder the better.
The truth is I’ll eat just about anything, as long as it tastes good, even vegetables.
I’m not into Survivor or fear Factor food, but some of the stuff on Iron Chef might be tasty.
ALLEZ CUISINE !!!
I voted for Italian, but it was because pizza was included in this. Once a week for dinner and two days of left overs for lunch. But you you left off Isamax Whoopie Pies which may be the best food going.
Give me a good chicken parm sandwich and I`ll be happy for hours.
I’m with you Aggro. It is kind of interesting to hear what other model railroaders like to eat. I have shared many a meal with my fellow train lovers over the years. Burgers and pizza are almost universal, though I’m not sure it has anything to do with loving trains.
Back when I was in high school I volunteered to be part of a track crew that was rebuilding part of an old streetcar line. Full size, heavy, hard, dirty work. When it was time for lunch, those who didn’t bring theirs always ended up at Pizza Hut. There were no objections.
When I lived in Denver, I had a friend who was building a layout. Once in a while I would go over to his house on a Saturday, and help out for the entire afternoon. He made pizza from scratch, dough and sauce. To this day, I use his sauce receipe.[dinner]
Mexican Carne Asada burritio, with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
And I like off topic threads, it lets us learn about each other. We lost our coffee shop in the garden railway forum, due to some people being so offended by the thread. I figure, if I don’t like the topic, I don’t need to read it. Others might. [8D][8D]
Take care all
Tim
YEA YOU RIGHT!!!

My wive’s spagetti and meatballs, and filet mignon., but there are many more very close behind on the tracks.
It’s all GOOD
Hot Peppers, Beer and a side order of Rolaids.[:O]
You are forggten cannibalism
My choice was Mexican, since I was only allowed to choose one. I, like many others here, do like many kinds of food, including many of those not listed in the options.
If the question were asked as to what kind of food we eat while enjoying our hobby, it would have pertained to model railroading, wouldn’t it?
Something else to consider is that some of the listed choices have different meanings depending on what part of the country (or world) you are in… for example barbecue in South Carolina is a kind of food, but in California it’s what you grill your steak on!!!
Gotta go now… getting hungry!
-Joe
What ISN’T? But since you tied me to the tracks and are signaling for that Yellowstone to come at me unless I tell you, I’m really fond of German. Brats, Rouladen, Sauerbraten, Schwartzwald Kirshetorte (Black Forest Cake to you uninitiated) all that good HEAVY stuff that goes so well with beer–LOTSA beer! I’m also nuts about shellfish, Cornish Pasties and a really good pizza. That’s my favorite foods. Now what I HAVE to eat for the next month while I’m on medication for my errant innards, is lots of turkey, soup, veggies and more soup. Let’s say I’m getting healthy but bored, bored, BORED!

I vote for Chinese -Sichuan style
I voted for Burgers but fresh channel catfish and walleye, with some fried green tomatoes and cornbread, followed by a BIG helping of my wifes homemade Blackberry cobbler and icecream now for the main course…[:D] Terry
Mom’s lasagna. I even love it cold, out of the frig, late at night.
Mine is Paella, Seafood (any), Sushi (except sea urchin, yuck!), Brie Cheese with berrys and anything with chocolate. My gfriend with fudge topping, hmmm [}:)]
