Mexican. Nachos, burritos, taco, enchilada, its all good. The more cheeae, the better. We’ve got this little resturaunt here in Natomas called “On the Boarder”, jeeezzzz. Serves the best damn Mexican food EVER.

Not sure about the Detroit place, but that reminds me (not sure why) of a place I went to Cincinnati once and they had this chili served five ways. I think it was Sky Way Chili or something like that. Chili was served on top of spaghetti with beans, onions, and cheese. Yum, yum!!! It’s been 15 years since I had that stuff!

Us USA’ns will take a dish from anywhere, and adapt to local ingerdients and preparation procedures. This includes Chow Mein - (an American invention, by the way) to Pizza, hot dogs (German Sausage Sandwitches) and even probably some Indian, African and Mid-eastern dishes. (Lets hear it for a Yidish Gran’ma’s Chicken Soup!!!)
Strongest likes - My Mothers Onven-fried Chicken, Corn on the Cob, Oven Fried Potatoes, Jello, and Ice cream, cake, or pudding for desert - chocolate of course!! Also, I love beefsteak, and “'Q”. I even have developed a taste for exotic veg’s.
If you want to get a little kid to try stuffed zuchini - serve it as per aboard the SUPER CHIEF. Want to get them to try Pork Chops - Normandie as per B & O’s Blue Train.

CREAMED CHIPPED BEEF!
I love creamed chipped beef, and can’t get enough of it. I had to vote deli/diner because a lot of diners have creamed chipped beef. Too bad there wasn’t an “Others” category, or a seperate “Creamed Chipped Beef” category. It does deserve its own.
