Actually as the profile says, Smoggy L.A., Pasadena to be more precise…we are getting ready for “silly season” here…thats when all the Yuckles show up for the Rose Parade, they dont know how to drive, how to park, or even how to cross the street. happens every year so we get used to it.
I live in Surrey, British Columbia, part of greater Vancouver. Elevation at my house is a dizzying 40 feet or so and the current temperature is about 45 F.

But seriously folks…I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, but moved to this area back in 1979 so I could buy a house I could afford in a decent area, and then start a family.
HERE, is the small “city” (pop. 10K about) of Peru, IL which is on the Illinois River about 90 miles southwest of Chicago, 60 miles northeast of Peoria. I decided to model a rural area, granger railroad so if I needed to see how something looked or scenery, etc. in the country, I can hop in the car drive about four blocks to the Illinois River Bridge, cross over, and be out in the country in a manner of minutes. Very convenient to my modeling! Now if I could only get a time machine and go back…
