An FEF from the 60’s. GP30s and a Microbus. Also, an ice cream stand makes this a pretty ideal spot to watch some trains. Groovy.

The Hickory Creek out for a spin along the Hudson!

Ooh, Ed! Real nice! Makes me want to get my passenger trains out and do an FEF of my Amtrak F40PH (Phase III paint) and E9A (Phase II).
But first, a Seaboard System GP16, picking up a car in Southern Pines, North Carolina:

Hi, it’s that time of the Week again, here are a couple of GP38-2s
On the left is Athearn R2R 78881: CSS 2004 alongside Atlas Trainman #10 000 290: CSS 2002.
Whilst the Athearn model has no Ploughs, square-corner Air Filter Boxes, M-Trucks and a less bright shade of orange Livery, it does have separately applied Grab-irons, less clunky looking Handrails, Reflective Flashes on the Frame and certain Features are moulded in greater detail.
So, I guess it’s Swings and Roundabouts?
I pulled the last photo from an Anacostia Rail Holdings Co. promo. website – a different viewpoint of FEF.
