February Coffee Pot 2016. 11 years old. Wonderful grits and sweet ice tea for the southern gents. Coffee and oatmeal for the Yanks.

Dennis, The second one is a E-bay listing with Free shipping.

Just left click and highlight the address then right click and pick open in a new tab. It should open up. Or go to e-bay and do a 98 integra front bumper. Search. it should come up with it.

This one asks some more questions so you can get the right one. Because it is truck freight it may only ship to a treminal near you. You would have to call them and ask if it can ship to home.

They look nice, Buckeye. Bet the boy thinks they are cool.

KRM I didn’t realise the 2nd one was eBay but I tried the 3rd discountbodyparts and their price was OK with me and I ordered it. Thank’s again It was 183.77 including shipping and 15 tax.

Its too late now but I’ll check eBay now, I never thought to check eBay as I figured they woulden’t have something like that.

Edit: now I have checked eBay and there was a listing from discount body same price and another company more expensive.

The 184 I paid chances are a junkyard one would be that much or even more.

Pick Your Part a big junkyard not far away has once a month 40% off sales and if I could ever find one there it would probably be about 35.

Trouble is that place is exhausting in my old age, I went there all the time in my hot rod days.

Good evening all,

Quiet day at work. Busy as well. Pain two was gone so it was almost like a vacation day. Good walk at noon. No soccer tonight. Just as well. Watched Arrow. Have not missed anything. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

fife… He thought going to the big box store, Menards, to purchase the lights was awesome. We did a spin through the electrical section and the hand tool section and he had a hundred questions. What’s that? Is that a real axe? Why is this brush shorter? This “fence” of blue lights was just what I needed to provide a boundary to little visitors to the layout. Thanks again.

Dennis, Glad I could help, let us know how it turns out. The internet can be a great thing at times. I am a junk yard dog. [au] I built a lot of cars over the years and the yards were always fun to go through. Worked in one when I was 17 to 20 and was part owner of one from 1996 to 1998, Had to sell out to my partners after I crushed my arm at Cat. Don’t know how things would of went but you do what you got to do.

Buckeye, nice video. The boy looks like he is into it and a nice consist to boot on the train. Now you just need some black light train posters for the train room with those lights. [(-D]

Hello all

Warm day in the Ol’ Pueblo for February, got up to almost 90 today.

Dropped off the work truck and gave the Magma mine train to my boss. He was surprised and pleased. We talked for a bit about the railroad at the mine and it turned out that he worked on the train crew for a while.

Then got a haircut (finally) and got the white spoke rims installed on the Datsun. I made a gift of the old mag rims to a shop near me that does used tires and rims. They said they’d give me a disount off some exhaust work later.

Then went over to Bill’s and finally put the Corvan on the lift to remove the gas tank and see where the leak was. Are you ready for this?

Hose was fine. No leaks from the sender, there was actually dust on the top of the tank. The step of the tank where it goes under the floor was wet and the anti-squeak seals were gone. There was this lump on the tank in that area. I remember talking about it to the guys at the shop that cleaned out the tank. They weren’t sure what it was but it survived the cleaning process so they left it alone. I scraped off the goo and found - a sheet metal screw. Then I lookked up under the van and started to crack up. There were two drill holes in the floor right above the tank! We just found an ancient screw up. Somebody drilled straight into the fuel tank!

I’ll take the tank back to the shop tomorrow and have it soldered shut.

Clawde the scorpion was out last night due to the warm weather so he got more temporary roomates tonight.

Going to mess w/ the N-scale layout tonight.

Might be worth a call to the city to ask them - and then press them to plant a range of tree species this time around if they aren’t already. A nice 20% each of maple, oak, elm, beech, and dogwood for example - using a couple of species of each. Something like that ensures that should something else come around only 10% of the trees would likely be affected. They’ll also grow (and, eventually, die) in different cycles maintaining a full look for the rest of the century.

Morning. Partly cloudy and going to 50.

This software drives you nuts. Changes font size right in the middle of typing.

One meeting this AM. Then speak to the kids at one of the elementary schools on their career day. Interesting.

Was areal busy meeting day yesterday and then MIL’s Bday meal.

Neat lights Buckeye.

Bob, lowest point in gas tank usually. Were any water sits. Causes rust.

Hope all are OK.

Later

Morning all!

Windy (30 mph) and warm today (near 80!).

Projects celanup includes finishing a couple so taking longer but less clutter to store.

Have a great day all!

Morning all been a hectic past two days with me worrying to death about one of our cats. He got out and is very skidish around vehicle sounds as when young got caught in fan belt of a motor we believe from the scars on his back anyway when I tried to get him a car went by out front, we were out back that was to close for him he ran like a scared rabbit I honestly thought he was gone as we didn’t see even a trace of him for 2 days then last night about 2:30 am Donna saw him in the back yard eating food we put out for the stray cats and was able to coach him to her he would never of came to me she’s the only one that could of gotten him I knew that. I was in bed asleep when I hear her cry with joy she had him. My Blood sugar has been running high also not sure if the stress was part of it or not but its was close this am so maybe it helpped him coming home last night we will see as don’t want to go on inslin. I’m watching what I eat now but couldn’t get it below 200 should be 140 oor below when first get up and 180 or below 2 hours after eating it was 142 this am first time in who knows when I started really paying attention and walking this week so a combination may be helping.

Other than all that not much else has been going on. Hope all have a good day talk to you all later.

Sun and 30 today. Wind is calm.

50 tomorrow but windy so I don’t think it will feel any warmer.

S.J.

33 heading to 44 as we have a warming trend going on. Lots of sun makes it nice but they say the south winds will pick up later and get up to better than 40mph at times.
I hurt so bad I staid in bed till 7:30. Both shoulders and the right elbow. Can’t find a good position to sleep. Old age sucks.

Got the rest of the metal I needed for the Grapple project so maybe take some Advil and try to get something going.Want to weld everything up on Saturday.

RT. My doctor would kill me if I was at 140 blood sugar. I got chewed out for 104. He wants 90 or below. But they all want something else. My first wife was a type 1 and is she was at 120 that was good back in 1976. Good luck with that stuff. I know it is hard to do.

Bob. I wonder how long ago that screw was run through the tank. [:O]

Hello all

Nice morning here in the Ol’ Pueblo.

Kev - hard to say. I’ve had the van for over 7 years and the guy I bought it from just resold it. I think it sat in someones yard for many years as the rear bumper was full of dirt when I got it.

Ran trains on the N-scale layout last night after vacuuming all the loose stuff up. I pulled everything that looks like a christmas tree as I’m trying to go w/ a more SW look eventually. Ran both the Atlas Alcos w/ a few cars. Need to work on a few track junctions, but otherwise things are ok.

If anybody could use a bunch of small trees for infill or the background, let me know and I’ll send them to you.

Well, the sun is getting near to being over the yardarm so I better get going. Need to take the fuel tank to the shop and then start putting the speedometer cable in. Thank god Bill has a lift. Makes the job a lot easier.

Good evening all,

Good day at work. Lots of meetings. Good walk at noon today. Fixed drawer for wife. She is happier now. Good to keep wife happy. Submmbob, all sorts of strange things can be found when working on projects. Corvairs were yet another missed opportunity by GM. I can sympathize with those of us who measure our sugar. I need to start doing that again on a regular basis. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Evening all from what was a sunny and warm (mid 50’s) Southern Ohio,

Back on nights but this is my regular shift. I will be picking up an extra 12 next Monday night tagged onto the end of the regular four night shifts. I spent most of the afternoon in the garage doing PMs on the van, flushing the power steering and changing the transmission fluid. Going to stop off at the elementary school where the youngest goes and going to lead Stations of the Cross with the kids. The kids will amaze you with their insight and understanding.

Mike- Happy Wife; Happy Life

Bob- Glad the tank is going to be an easy fix. A friend of mine has a lift in his garage and I’ve used it a couple of times. It makes the work so much easier than crawling under.

RT-Try mixing up a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water to lower your blood sugar. Take care of yourself.

Got to go.

Good Night and may God bless

Jim

Hello all

New speedo cable has been installed and just waiting on the tank repair. Even installed a sear belt on the drivers side of the Datsun (original was worn out). Did a little sleuthing on the electrical system. There is some strange stuff going on there, will take some time to figure out. Prob related to the short in the system. I’m unhooking the battery at night. Otherwise the little truck drives great. Really what I needed.

Off to the trolley in the morning. Hopefully will get the second sander working. Saturday I may be working on some of the buses.

Bob

Buckeye - [bday]

Aloha. Sunny, ferociously windy and warm! Might hit 50! (cold returns next week but I’ll take it!). All quiet on the home front. Except for said wind. Might take Mr. T (the pup) for a walk. Happy Happy Happy Birthday Buckeye! [bday] Fife, [bow]
